A home inspection is a comprehensive, methodical assessment of a building performed by a trained, licensed professional who will provide an objective analysis of the home so you can be fully informed about its condition.
A septic system receives, treats, and disposes of all the household's waste water. Every time you brush your teeth, flush the toilet, or do your laundry, the septic system goes to work. Simply put, pipes take this water from your home into an underground tank where the water is separated from the solids and other waste and then put through a natural filtration process that eventually puts it back into the groundwater.
This service is designed for existing homeowners who feel the home is drafty and uncomfortable and who believe their utility bills are unreasonably high. The scans, utilizing infrared technology, will identify areas in the home that are causing excessive drafts and energy loss that result in higher utility expense.

This company was recommended to me by my realtor Steve Kahn. Pro-check surpassed my expectations and went above and beyond to make sure my agent and I have the information we need. The inspector they sent over -Steve Bartko is very professional, patient, thorough and pleasant to work with. He spent several hours inspecting and writing out a detailed easy to read document in a very timely manner. I am a first time home owner and had a ton of questions. Would not recommend. Very nice people and very responsive and organized in terms of scheduling, however, once we closed on our home we discovered numerous, very serious and dangerous defects that were not spotted by the home inspector. All of the items were code violations. When I spoke with someone at Procheck, their response was to state that the inspectors don't know the codes of every town....the code violations that were missed are NATIONAL codes and should be known by an inspector. I went out on a limb and called Pro Chek after seeing an ad in the valupack. It was the first time I’ve hire a company without asking anyone. From the woman that answered the phone to the guys that came two days laters ( so fast!! For a non emergency) everything was easy. They were nice, they were on time, did a beautiful job. They truly went above and beyond and the price was perfect. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed.

We had Jamey do our inspection and he was very accommodating, professional and kind. We were on a trip during our first inspection and not only was he thorough with our inspection with our realtor, he was kind enough to get on FaceTime to review his findings with us. We were able to get everything remediated and then he came back to do our final walkthrough. Again, he was very thorough and explained everything to us carefully. He was very friendly and made the whole experience very smooth. Even the staff that help us set up the inspections were very quick to help and friendly. Definitely recommend

We used ProCheck for Home Inspection based on recommendation of the realtor. We find that the inspectors missed important items that were worth a few thousand. Routing the salt water from filteration system was identified at $150, it actually costs $3000. Attic insulation as we learn now was poor.
He didnt check the HVAC properly, we learn now that there is a problem with the dumper pipe connected to the heater needs to be at an angle and the guys from eversource tell us that insulating the house properly will cause CO emissions.

They were recommended by my realtor for an inspection before purchase. Extremely dangerous and glaring issues were overlooked and only identified weeks after closing, costing thousands in repairs that should have been handled by the seller (if we knew).
They seem to think snow is an excuse to cut corners on an inspection so maybe just use them in the summer?

Home inspector chosen by my realtor when buying a home. The inspection was not completely done, missing glaring and dangerous issues with the home causing thousands in repair costs after moving in. Costs that should have been used in closing negotiations which didn't happen due to a poor inspection (issues were easily identified by a third party who says any competent inspector would have caught these hazardous problems).

The client service manager John got back to me on the same day and was able to squeeze in a last minute inspection for us. The inspector Chris was amazing he was punctual and very thorough on every step, walked us through the workings of the septic tank. He followed up after the inspection as well. We couldn't be more satisfied

My wife and I bought our first home back in October of 2018. I never got a chance to write this review but I feel people deserve to know about who they are hiring. During the inspection I followed the inspector around and I raised several concerns. I was insured the house was fine and everything I was noticing was just caused by settling. The report backed up what he was saying. We went through with the sale with the comfort and confidence that we used a recommended and reputable company. Not even a week after closing we began to have doors replaced in the house because none of them properly closed

After many times trying to contact PC they finally answered my email. The owner Mike told me that it's a very busy season and he himself was out on the field working and lost track of what we spoke about and he wasn't ignoring or trying to get over on a reimbursement. So he said he will be sending me a check for having to pay money out my pocket for the delay the lab cost me and for me not being happy with the service. Even with the explanation he had about the roof situation I still felt strongly about what should have been done but I got my money back and we can move forward.

I am a Realor and recently had the pleasure of working with Chris Sudano from ProChek. I have worked with a number of home inspectors before, but working with Chris was different. He was very polite, and extremely thorough. His reports were incredibly detailed and he left no stone unturned. The staff was very nice and the inspector did a very through job on the physical home inspection, unfortunately it was the report that was not satisfactory. Inspection took place on a Friday mid-morning, I was told I would receive the report by that evening. I did not receive it until the following Monday. Their website states a report in 24 hours, it says nothing that if the inspection is done on a Friday the report would not be sent until the following Monday. Also the summary page did not reflect the actual report. Items were missing, recommendations were not on the summary or in some

The best of the BEST! We were buying a house that had been vacant for 3+ years, so the inspection was extremely important. Our inspector was very thorough and went through the entire house, from the roof to the crawl space and gave us a very detailed report. We ended up buying the house and couldn't be happier. Our inspector showed up early, before we even got there, did a thorough job of going over the apartment, he took the time to point all the issues, explained what needs to be done to correct them and explained that if we decide to buy the apartment, he or a colleague, will come on the day of the closing to re inspect and assure us that all the agreed upon issues were taken care of, no extra charge. I call this excellent service .
