They seem to be screening people out before showing properties and handing over an application. 99% of the time I see an ad from them on hotpads, etc., I know better than to waste time showing interest. When contacting them previously, I got zero response. Or the apartment was reportedly taken, but the same apartment popped up as available the next day, maybe listed with another realtor, maybe listed with them by a different agent's name. I looked up reviews because I thought it a scam company. Apparently the agency is real--really incompetent/ignorant. Perhaps they are stealing each other's leads

The agent, Allan, failed to verify that the unit was still available before asking us to send a full month of rent. I had to interface with the office staff directly to get my refund, and go there in person twice. They were polite, but I have to say that the office has a fratty vibe to it. Overall I wouldn't recommend doing business with them.

Our agent Evan Bilton was absolutely incredible to work with! He helped us find the perfect apartment! Super responsive, very dedicated to his clients, and extremely kind and friendly! Awesome experience searching for my apartment as well as during the 4 years that I stayed. Kenmore Properties helped me quickly find the perfect apartment with ease. The application, renewal, move in, and move out processes all went smoothly and efficiently. Bobby and his team are true professionals. My landlord David was fantastic as well — the only issue I ever had was my garbage disposal breaking, and he made sure it was replaced the very next day. Thank you for the great 4 years. We work with Evan Bilton to find our apartment in Fenway, and he was so helpful. He gave us a video tour and stayed in contact with us to answer all questions. He also went back to personally measure dimensions of the apartment and windows so that we could purchase furniture remotely. Truly an amazing help!!

I was originally i contact withBelinda Macmillan & love her enthusiasm & energy but being a what looks like a top agent = her next week days were totally over booked. i didn't mind bc is good real estate agent is always busy. Belinda begged her colleague Patricia to squeeze me in after she had to cancel showing bc unit got rented by someone else.. From California I asked their broker for help finding a studio in Somerville. Knowing I was relocating under difficult circumstances, she still rented me a unit in a property up for sale.
The broker said she didn't know it was on the market, but if that's true she 100% knew when she continued to show units to prospective tenants in the following months.
It's been nothing but uncertainty from the start and really sucks I gave this broker money that I'll really need in August when I have to move again.

We rented an apartment with Kenmore Properties and it was an absolute mistake. We were not in the city but we needed to find accommodation as soon as possible, so we trusted in an agency to help us. We did video tours to different apartments and they lied to us about the conditions of the apartments. So, we are not talking about 'not showing' some things in bad condition (all agents do that) but deliberately lying and scamming us. The result is that we have rented an apartment in poor condition, even if they lied to us and promise that the flaws would be fixed before our arrival in September

We worked with Patricia and she was awesome. My roommate is very awkward and insisted on making stupid dad jokes. Patricia was very patient with him and even had some comebacks to his jokes.
She showed us several apartments and was very prompt in responding any inquiries. Thanks to Patricia I found a great apartment and she even has some amazing suggestions for the best sushi places in the area.

Can't speak for the entire team but don't deal with Edwin Contreras. Had an appointment to show an apartment Monday morning. When I called him after arriving he told me it got rented Saturday and didn't bother calling or emailing me. He had both my number and email. Would you trust a broker that you can't even get a call from? There are lots of other brokers in the Boston area, try them out.

Anthony Blue was an angel! I found a listing on Craigslist and was in desperate need to move into a new apartment. Long story short, the unit I was in was not the safest - my landlord was not only reneging on the Lease, but also had a criminal wrap sheet that left me sleeping with pepper spray by my bed. I looked at several units before I met Anthony to no avail. Moving back to Boston and looking for a place near work was not easy. Luckily I was able to stumble on this place and felt really taken care of. My agent was Grant Klein and he was really easy to get in contact with and made the whole process very easy. So nice to be able to move in on time and felt taken care of. Not being from the area, I was completely overwhelmed by the craziness of finding an apartment to rent in Cambridge. The whole process is so stressful and it is really just incredible how many opportunities there are for something to go wrong! I had Alicia as my realtor and she was great. Throughout the process I was never 100% positive I wanted to rent a studio. I was also leaning towards buying and renting 2 bedroom. Alicia always kept in touch, where I've had experience with most realtors giving up if you're not 100% (especially for a September 1st move-in).
She was great. I liked Kenmore Properties too since I didn't have to pay all dues/fees at once, just first month and the rest 1 month before move-in. I definitely recommend them (and Alicia) if you're looking for a Fenway/Kenmore apartment.
