What a great cafe in the middle of Southport (Renton) specializing in french cuisine I have yet to find anything on the menu that isn't extraordinary! It's a nice intimate and close environment that provides for great conversation and experiences. Our server Julie was very knowledgeable and very attentive. She made us laugh and heightened an already brilliant dinner. Although slightly pricey, I can say with confidence it is worth every last penny! I highly recommend making this hidden gem one of your next nights out!

I have been trying to go to this place for quite a long time. I finally went and the service was phenomenal. The wine was really good and they sell wine there as well. I don't remember the lamb or the pasta. I do remember that the raw meatloaf kind of dish wasn't that good. But I would go back just to try to remember what the food tastes like. It was so busy and packed in there it must have something amazing to offer. I tried the profiterole's and I didn't like it. But I might not be a cream puff person to begin with. Hubby and I picked this place for dinner. Close to the hotel we are staying and it was a welcome surprise! Everything we so delicious!! He started off with a mixed drink,I started off with a cabernet. For an appetizer, we chose Olives. Very tasty! For dinner I chose the Beef Bourguignon and hubby chose the Tagliatelle (he kept going on about how the home-made pasta melted in his mouth). I'm sitting at the front table caught in a memory when I realize my last review of Peyrassol was during the last round of restrictions related to COVID. Much has changed.
Indoor dining at 100% capacity is allowed once more. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test is required to dine inside. This is a King County government order, so please keep that in mind and do not take it out on any restaurant workers. They have to enforce it or risk government fines or worse, so be kind.
It is nice to dine in again. I see all the familiar faces and a few new ones. The food is absolutely delicious

This pains me to give such a low rating to a restaurant my wife and I have been so looking forward to trying.
Christy our server was the best, and may be better suited to a better restaurant.
All started well. Scot checked us in and seated us by a window. The starters all showed promise.
But that was the end of good. Overdone fillet, overdone pork shank. Inexcusable. I chose to eat. My wife with a RR ranch fillet mignon did not. Next was a rare slab. Sent back again a flash reheat and it was all over. So sad. We had so much hope for an exceptional meal.

Be alerted! There was a $6 (eight dollars) charge for "Open Table" (just noticed on the receipt after back to home). It was a little surprising to see some extra item like this for an individual's dinner, on top of 2 main dishes (Clam & Chorizo $14, and Crepe Thermadore $24, with prawns and dunguness crab meat), a crispy Polenta Cake $4, plus $10 tip. Was it because no order of drinks or sitting inside? Not sure if it would be worth to dispute it ...

OK there is something to be said for humble hard work blended with talent, and Peyrassol nails it: thoughtful consideration underpinning exceptional execution at every step...the service, the menu, the ingredients, the preparation, the approach to wine, the dishes themselves. Mastery in the art of the subtle underpromise and meaningful over-delivery.
Beef, Lamb, pate, salad - all delightful. All managing to make bold statements, impressive experiences, while retaining subtlety and some barely enough restraint. :)

So delicious!!!! I originally had a res for the nearby Water Table, which i am sure would have been delicious also - we were walking around the area and found this place. It was so good! The dishes were creative, affordable and the ambiance was perfect. Glad we chose this place for our anniversary dinner!

Finally got to dine at Peyrassol Cafe after hearing steller reviews! All of us really enjoyed our wine, salads, sides, and dinners. Our group tried and shared 3 desserts which were fantastic. We were celebrating an anniversary and the meal and service matched the occasion! A unique dining experience and perfect for a special night. Thanks Peyrassol for a great memory!

YUMM!! Peyrassol did not disappoint! I had the duck ragu and it was amazing. The service was warm and friendly and the food was tasty! Their seasonal dessert, the pavlova was also a tasty treat!

This restaurant has become one of my favorites. I stop in every time I'm in the area for work, giving me something to look forward to. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, remembering me from when I was in over 2 months prior.
The Filet is cooked perfectly each time. Might be the best I've had. The Lamb is also hard to pass up. I'm trying to explore more of the menu.

Absolutely delicious! Came here for dinner after a long search for a place to eat. They were able to squeeze my friend and I even though we didn't have a reservation (they had a cancellation). I was impressed and happy to see that they were following COVID 19 protocol. All the employees had masks on correctly and the tables were spread apart (more than 6ft).
Had the lobster Mac and cheese and it was delicious and very filling. A bit on the buttery side but that's what makes it the best. The pavlova was also great and I am happy the server recommended it.

This was prior to Covid shut down, this was back in August. When there was the capability to do some seating Peyrassol did very limited amount of seating. I kept forgetting to write a review so I didn't think it fair to write a review without the food fresh in my mind. This is beautifully located in Renton right by the water. There is a parking garage right across the way that you can park and get validated or if you prefer, you can park on the street if you can find any parking. My husband and I do date night every week or every other week and we love to experience we places with new flavors

Haven’t been in about 3 years. Forgotten how much I enjoyed it here and the food was again delicious. Beef Bourguignon presentation was beautiful while the crepes thermadore tasty but not terribly visually appealing. Our server gave us just the perfect amount of attention. All over lovely experience.

Such a cute spot tucked away in Renton. I remember coming here for the first time years ago...not sure why I don't visit Peyrassol more often. The food is excellent! Pasta and bread are homemade. I do not eat meat but enjoy the menu options they have for pescatarian and vegetarian diets. Wine list is paired perfectly with their menu. This restaurant has stood the test of time and will continue to do so. The setting, service and food are amazing. I'll be back again soon.

A friend highly recommended this place for outstanding French-inspired food & boy was she right! We checked off a lot on our bucket list. They're open for dine-in (reservations) & takeout, dinner menu only, w/outside seating. Everything was lovely, like a true French cafe up to the duck ragu pappardelle & boeuf bourguignon. A great deal too. We spent less on a full dinner w/dessert than we did on appetizers at the nearby hotel's Water's Table.
PS. We went back to celebrate my husband's birthday a few weeks later. OMG, you HAVE to try the lamb osso bucco...so flavorful, tender, fall off the bone

Hidden, intimate wonderful cafe restaurant in Renton! Fancier then you'd expect this small restaurant to be in the location that it is in. Totally blown away by this little but awesome place thats tucked away in Southport! But in actuality it's really close to everything you'd be doing at the Landing - or even commuting between Renton and Seattle via highway 99. This place is unlike ANYWHERE else in Renton!
