The ideal way to learn about Kabeyun is to come for a tour, especially if you can visit when camp is in session, when boys are in the flow of daily life. Kabeyun offers a unique environment for boys, designed especially for those in search of opportunities to explore new and challenging experiences, develop new skills, and discover their individual capacity to accomplish whatever they set their mind to. Since 1924, Kabeyun has created unforgettable summer camp experiences for boys on New Hampshire's largest body of water, Lake Winnipesaukee, nestled in the heart of New England.
Kabeyun offers boysthe chance to explore a wide variety of activities not typically available to them during the rest of their year. Through our completely elective program, campers choose daily from over 20 activities, including high adventure sports like white water kayaking and canoeing, rock climbing and hiking, sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and waterskiing.

Kabeyun has something for every boy, from sailing to drama, from rock climbing to leather-working. Boys can try lots of different activities or focus on reaching mastery in one or two.
Kabeyun counselors are chosen for their warmth and compassion, their understanding of children and their integrity as much as, or more than their expertise in a particular activity. A staff to camper ration of 1 to3 enables us to place a strong emphasis on instruction and to encourage positive and lasting relationships between campers and their counselors.

Both of my sons attended Kabeyun from 2000-2013. Though they were 8 years apart in age, Kabeyun was a fit for both. One spent his time at the waterfront, sailing; the other was a rock climber. Both returned as counselors. As a family, we have been attending Family Camp for almost 20 years. This is a very special place that is important in all our lives.

A wonderful, magical place, from the opening charcoal ceremony to the 5 year club dinner (don’t know if they still do that).
My family has had 3 generations there, and if my son would have a boy, it would be 4. Absolutely nothing negative to say about the haloed place. I will be making reservations at family camp for 2020, cannot wait!!

By far one of the best summer camps in New England! From their in camp activities which include things like archery, sailing, pottery, leather, tennis. To their adventure trips program where Kabeyun's trips staff lead the campers on trips such as rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, sailing, and kayaking. This boys camp located on a mile and a half of premiere Lake Winnipesaukee is hands down extraordinary when it comes to the message of kindness, caring, risk-taking, and so many more. Highly recommend for any parent looking to send their young child to camp.

Kabeyun is a fantastic places for young men to learn and grow. My fiancé was a longtime camper and I have spent two summers on staff there. The sense of community that is fostered is simply amazing. I see why people keep coming back year after year. It is a special place where you can be yourself in an open, welcoming community. Tip: Four weeks might seem like a long time to go away but it flies by- at camp, every day is an adventure.

This is undoubtedly the best place on Earth. It is a summer camp for boys that has been in the same spot for nearly 100 years. Many families are on their 3rd generation, with grandfather's and cousins, uncle's and friends all attending. But, unlike many camps, this one has evolved from the old school style and is very much geared towards developing strong, creative, independent and capable young men. Kids choose their own activities for four periodsbeachbdat, select trips they would like to go on, and enjoy communal meals all together. The staff is a mix of people who have been there for decades

Great place to connect with the world in the most peaceful atmosphere available in a collective community setting. It's an all boys camp with an amazing culture and heritage built over several decades time. Pictured won't do justice and there isn't any substitute for the real thing. Take a tour and shake hands with as many long time returnees to get good stories. This one is well worth the journey and make sure you take deep breathes of that refreshing brisk north eastern air!
