Since 1936, Camp Quinebarge has provided a safe, fun and exciting environment for boys and girls ages 6-16 to learn about themselves and each other and make everlasting friendships. We achieve these goals by fostering a spirit of growth and exploration. With memories that I know I will never forget, Camp Quinebarge truly helped form who I am today.
Because of camp I. was able to develop leadership skills and meet new people from other states and countries. I am about to enter my third year at Camp Quinebarge, and am very excited to return as a CIT! Come enjoy Monkeytown, USA, both a place and a way of life, with our Monkeytown treehouses, mayor, Carnival, Color Wars, auction, money, and even a Monkeytown Bureau of Investigation.

We believe summer is a time for being outdoors, having wonderful experiences, making friends and coming together as a community. We foster this sense of exploration, creativity and growth by engaging with each child (and their families), learning about their goals and needs and helping them achieve their goals.
Camp Quinebarge was founded on the shores of Lake Kanasatka in 1936 by Tom and Ruth Kenly and a small group of young men who built the first cabins and buildings.
Drawing from the New England, New York and New Jersey areas initially, Quinebarge grew with many of the traditions of the time, including singing and developing camping skills, while also creating its own unique environment with Monkeytown, USA, complete with its own Mayor, Olympics and Carnival, which we still have today.

Camp Quinebarge, founded in 1936, carries the same values today that it was founded over 80 years ago. Experiential learning, making memories and friendships, trying new things in a safe and inclusive community are the cornerstones of what we do and what we have always done.
Campers will come into their summer with curiosity and enthusiasm and leave a little more confident, a little more outgoing, and with a special ember of memory that will stay with them for their entire lives as they have taken part in something truly special. Our most important goal at Camp Quinebarge is to foster a nurturing environment for all children, where they can grow as individuals and as a group.

Camp Quinebarge is a traditional, welcoming summer camp in every sense, from the moment you come on camp you can feel history on display all around you. For over 80 summers, campers have spent their time outdoors and play all day in activities designed to help them grow, become more confident, and learn life skills all while having the times of their lives.
Quinebarge will fill this summer so please reserve your sessions today. Our program is based on a four week program, allowing each child to experience everything we have to offer and make friends, memories and great relationships. You may, of course, choose a two-week session if you or your camper prefer, or longer sessions.

Updated review with more details:
I am adjusting this review from 1 star to 2 stars with more details. I posted an earlier review about 1 week ago, and I would like to add more information.
Our family was really looking forward to going to this camp in summer of 2021. We chose to go during the family week. We submitted our applications on July 3d. 3-4 days later, I learned that the camp was officially closed for the summer. Even though the closure happened, our fee for the camp got processed. This was very sad news for us, and frankly we were crying -- we were really sad that yet another business

We had an amazing experience staying at an Airbnb at camp Quinebarg! Nick and Konstanza were more than accommodating and made our group feel truly at home and special. The location is breathtaking and unbeatable, and the camp offers everything from a giant dining hall, to wifi, electricity, hot showers and running water. We couldn't have ask for a better experience and will definitely be coming back to visit soon! Thank you so much Nick and Konnie!

My 2 children have both had the great pleasure of attending Camp Quinebarge. From the time we first picked up the phone to talk to the incredible staff, we knew that this was a camp our kids would thrive in. The facilities are absolutely incredible and my kids came home from their session talking a mile a minute about the incredible experiences they had. My daughter cried as she hugged all her new friends goodbye and couldn't wait to tell me about her adventures in horse back riding, pottery making, and swimming. Our family truly does value Camp Quinebarge and the amazing staff that go out of their

This is exactly the kind of camp I wished I had been able to go to as a kid. Swimming, hiking, rock climbing, wood working, games, campfires archery, boating, ceramics and my daughter’s favorite, horses. My favorite part is that kids get to be out there making friends with no video games or cell phones to get in the way. I love the location in the woods on a lake. My kids love the food and decorating their bunks in their cabins. One of the other nice things is that parents are able to see pictures that are posted daily showing the kids outside being active and happy!!

If you're looking for a kind and supportive community then this is it. I went to Camp Q for two years and seriously considered coming back as a counsellor. During two weeks, I built meaningful friendships that I cherish till this day. The staff are wonderful as they are all about spreading acceptance and positivity. They allowed me to step out of comfort zone and enjoy activities such as riding horses or rock climbing. It really feels like one big family. Especially when we gather around the bonfire and sing camp songs. Counsellors are so fun and caring! They always make sure each camper feels

This is the BEST CAMP EVER! Our son Jimmy has been going for the last 4 years, this year will be his 5th and each year he looks forward to going. He liked it so much that his cousin and his BF have been joining him the last 2 years. This is such a great experience, it gives the kids an amazing opportunity to explore the outdoors and make friends with kids from all over the world. They get a glance at what it was like when we were kids and had no electronics and played outdoors and had a BLAST! The counselors are absolutely amazing and they truly add to the Fun of camp. This is like a family and

During my first year of college, I was looking for a summer internship and I came across Camp Quinebarge. When I applied, I didn't realize how wonderful an experience it would be. This camp is so special for each kid, and being a part of the staff here was a truly unique experience. The campers at Camp Quinebarge truly have the summer of their life, and I hope to see this camp grow even bigger so that more kids can have the best summer possible.
