I have used Desoto cab co. now twice once for a home to the airport and again for the home to an event, stellar service from Mike by phone which is rare these days, the drivers were excellent and on time, professional yet friendly. the car we had was spotless and comfortable. I would highly recommend this company. I will be using them again next weekend.

We always used DeSoto before Uber/Lyft became popular and they were great, even fabulous. However, our recent experience changed my mind. On 8/24 I called in the morning to request a ride for that evening in Livermore. Needed a pickup at 5:40 p.m. for a 6:00 private event we were attending. At 5:50 I called to see where the driver was and was told "not to worry, he was on the way". At 6:05 I called again and asked the person answering the phone to call the driver to find out where he was and asked that person to call me back and advise me of the ETA. I never received a call back

Made a reservation for a ride to the airport and now they cannot find my reservation? I have the emails with reservation numbers and they cannot find them......and pretty rude over the phone too, kept telling me to call back during business hours, supposed to be a 24 hour business. Thank goodness I called several days before my flight and can make other arrangements.

So my review was taken down because apparently it was flagged for not enough detail. Probably by the owners trying to clean up their reviews. Don't use this cab company they over charge you for everything. Trips For the airport are wayyyy more. The drivers and especially the managers are rude and not accommodating.

Reserved a car for trip to oaklans airport 5:00am pickup called At 4:45 to make sure eveything was ok was told they were on the way. NEVER showed called several times to see what happenedand no answer. never herad from them and the never answered my calls. I gsbe one star so i could post no starts no post.

I would give no stars if possible. Second time (and never again) picked up in a car that had some mechanical problem. The same car and the same problem from when we were picked up over a month prior. The driver said it was a shock issue but I felt very unsafe in the vehicle. The driver seemed to share my concern. The owners of the cab company don't seem to care enough to fix their cars. It is not the drivers' fault who ends up hearing it from customers. Unacceptable!

I have used DeSoto Cab quite a few times and each time they have always picked me up before my quoted time which has been wonderful. The drivers are always polite and make good conversation. My friends and I went out on my birthday and the cab driver ended up paying for our cab, I thought that was just the nicest gesture and was totally unexpected. It is a family owned business and you can tell that they really value their customers. Thank you DeSoto for being professional and available to those in need.

Okay All, I have just had the BEST ride of my life. It wasn't just that Ali, one of the owners made good on his promise to personally ensure I would have a great service, it was not just the fact he reached out to me personally via Yelp, it was not just the fact that he was pleasant to talk to, Ali is a genuine person and not just an owner, but a real stand-up guy. I've tried very hard with DeSoto (925 777 7777, blue cabs) but I really don't like fearing death on my way to the airport. I've had numerous drivers and none I would recommend. The last came complete with girlfriend, broken bumper, large drink he spent more time holding than the wheel and kept all the windows open across the bridge so by the time I arrived I was deafened and wind swept. They rarely check traffic and half the time (especially on the way back from the airport) I've had to direct.
