Was told that the would have it done same day we brought it in for our appointment,Tech was sick, understandable. Called the next day at 230p to see if it was done. They hadn't even started on it. Then i told them it was making a bearing noise. Tech told me it was the breaks aginst my better judgment i let him do the work. got the car back with absolutely no change. (except out $460 for breaks i didn't need). The tech said he took it out for a ride after the repairs and didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. When i talked to him he heard what i said but must have a hearing issue.

I’ve gone to Comstock a number of times now, twice when my car urgently needed to be looked at (once it stalled out, another time the battery completely died). They are kind, provide clear background about my car, and it’s right as rain afterwards - they turned around my new battery quickly since I had to stick around until it was ready. Appreciate their help!

This place is good. The employees are nice and welcoming. I called on Friday for some used tires. They were able to squeeze me in the same day. I paid $65 per tire for a Camry that includes mounting and balancing. They were busy but we're able to take care of all the customers who came in. I would recommend this place. Good prices and good employees.

Went in during the month of December needing new tires and replaced all of my tires. A week later i had a flat tire. Upon further inspection, it seemed that there was a sharp object in my tired that they needed to remove and patch. I thought they said that the insurance with the new tires would cover it. It did not. Apparently if the whole tire was ruined it would be covered but not a huge leak/tear. I paid for the patch work and the next day the TIRE WAS FLAT AGAIN. I brought it in exasperated and the mehanic told me that basically whoever did the patch didn't do it correctly the first time

Needed tires right away before the snow storm was finished today & they got me in right away. Notified me of a repair I might need in the future & was the best deal for the price / service. Even let me know about some local restaurant / bakery that I could stop by while waiting. Good people I would recommend to others.

So I left it again and it was the same bad alignment they had given me from the start. Again I left the car and an hour later I got a call saying it was "ready" but this time the steering wheel wasn't pointing straight and the car didn't steer straight either. So once more I left the car there to see if this time they could get it right but no the car was barely drive-able and I just decided to leave because I was wasting my time at this point. Three times and they couldn't get the alignment right that's embarrassing for a company that opened in 1935, would've

I stopped in to get a tire patched and they did a great job and with a reasonable price but the tech told me that my tie rods were bad. Needless to say I took to some other shops to get more opinions and estimates and they said the tie rods looked all good. So I don't know if it was just that tech or not but I would stick to strictly tires if I'm going there.

Comstock was a lifesaver for us when we blew a tire on our cross country trip and needed a replacement first thing in the morning. They were able to squeeze us in to their full schedule and even found a space for us to wait with our dogs so we wouldn't be standing in the cold for an hour. Really great service.

I've found them to be very reasonable, both in price as well as service. They've always been very fair.
Just had a tire mounted on the rim and balanced for $18. They allowed me to bring my own tire in. Most places don't practice this type of service since they make good money on marked-up tires they sell on premise.
This place is our go to for all our tire servicing needs.

I pulled in just as they were locking the doors and Patrick still helped me with friendly professional service. He fixed the bad spare tire I drove in on and mounted a new tire all within about 15 minutes. Someone else drove up as I was leaving, well after closing, and Patrick was courteous and helpful to him also. I Would recommend this place to anyone. What could have been a very bad experience turned into a pleasant one. Thank you!

Patrick corresponded with me via email making an appointment to get some new tires installed. He was quick to respond and gave me all the information I needed without trying to sell me more than what I asked for. I appreciated not feeling anxious having to deny unwillingly contemplate getting other things done to my car like other big name places.
I was in and out in 30 minutes which was amazing! The only drawback was that the waiting area wasn't too inviting, but the free wi-fi was nice. And since I was only there for 30 minutes anyway, I didn't really care to get all that comfortable
