We are a health and fitness studio on the island in Vero Beach, owned and operated by a mother and son team. Our services are Personal Training, Health Coaching, Diabetes, and Yoga. Ken is a certified personal trainer with 13 years of professional experience, and has a tremendous passion for health, fitness, and well-being!

Services
I specifically design each workout session for every person I train by taking a functional, core based approach. Meaning training the body in the main movements and functions of daily life and activities; strength, flexibility, balance, posture, endurance, pushing and pulling, bending and squatting, lifting and carrying.
Male clients because their significant other wants them to see me; and they want to make him or her happy. It's a win- win with double results. We work one-on-one to create your path for better health and to support you through personal changes that you want to focus on. Coaching services are based on your individual needs.
Colleen works with adults who have prediabetes, Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, PCOS, or had Whipple surgery. She also works with clients who have insulin pumps and CGMs. Our certification requires that we have a higher level of training and knowledge to help you with your diabetes care and education. We have the knowledge and tools to help you with treatment options so you can make informed decisions about your diabetes care.
We do the discovery for you; that is our expertise. We discover how your employees feel and what they want; beyond a corporate wellness program if you have one. Your company receives a unique service based on our four values that promote wellbeing and a more harmonious environment. Employees are able to reduce stress, eat healthier, move better, reduce eye, neck, and shoulder strain.
Thinking back, being young, thin and fit.those were the days. What a great life of fun filled days with lots of energy and laughs. Then, when you're 50+ it's like what happened to me? Yep, that was me until I met Colleen Symanski, RN CDE. Colleen was instrumental in giving me back hope that I can bring some of those days back.

As a 70 year old with several health issues I have surrounded myself with the best physicians and medical providers. However, my biggest disappointment had been the decline in my endurance and loss of muscle mass until I found the best fitness, balance. and circuit trainer. That being Ken Symanski at A Healthier Me. Got great results from the best personal trainer.

I worked out with Kenny for over two years, and he played a major role in changing my lifestyle. I was overweight and needed to develop healthy eating habits along with a work out regimen. Kenny guided me throughout the process, and even trained with me for multiple half marathons! These changes have persisted and I am now a healthy medical student.

Ken is wonderful! I appreciate his knowledge and expertise and what I learned from him. He is creative and keeps workouts interesting while continuously challenging you. I appreciated that he paid attention and listened to what i said so he could tailor the sessions to meet my goals. He was also willing to work with me and my schedule and make up sessions when we could. He was kind and fun to be around and my workouts were something I looked forward to.
