Solutely IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with anyone here. I have been calling for the past month and a half for information regarding an apartment And one time I got a response from a gentleman named Marlon, he called me back and witching 1 minute he said "I'll call you back" and im still waiting. I went in person, and no one there. I have done everything possible to see if I can live in this place and apparently you guys don't want the business. If this is like this now, I could only imagine what it would be like living here.. Terrible service

Grand Adams is definitely my favorite building that I've lived in. When I looked at apartments, each unit had a unique layout. Ultimately got a spacious 1 bed unit with a balcony. Tons of sun all day. Management has been responsive to every issue I've had (replaced my washer/dryer within 24 hours of mine breaking).

Applied to an apartment 2 months ago and put a $500 deposit down. Unfortunately was unable to take the apartment, and was told I would be refunded by check in 30 days. It has been 60 days and I have yet to see my money. No one answers the direct line, ever, and I only get a response via e-mail every other week or after e-mailing 2-3 times. I called Greystar corporate and I keep getting the runaround here too. Beware when giving them your money!

There were some rough patches at the beginning of the new owners of Grand Adams tenure (acquired the building in late Feb 2020). Since then, they have made strides to fix most of the issues. They have been better with communication, they installed all new cameras around the property (inside and outside), fixed internal doors that were easy to open without a key fob and most importantly, brought back the doorperson, Fernando. While we are still in Covid-times, they have greatly improved.

My husband and I lived in the building for three years and absolutely loved it! The apartment itself was beautiful and featured all upgraded appliances with high ceilings and a walk in closet. The building features an awesome outdoor area which we used to entertain friends and has onsite parking for a reasonable fee. The management team could not have been nicer. We moved out to the suburbs to buy a house, but if we were to ever move back to Hoboken we would 100% rent at the Grand Adams.

I called the leasing office 7 times during weekday business hours, no one answered the call once. So I decided to try to schedule an appointment on their website. Got a confirmation. I called just to confirm, no one answered again. Showed up on time for the appointment, waited 10 mins. no one was there, no one was in the management office. Called a few times more and of course no one answered. What kind of business is this ?!

What a joke! Made an appointment, drove 50 miles and was greeted by a woman who apologized that no 2 BDR apartments were available. My appointment was confirmed 24 hours earlier for a 2 BDR .
As it turns out, we wouldn't live there anyway. It is apparent that the property is very poorly managed.
Leasing office never answered the intercom, so we just entered with a food delivery person.
Front desk was not manned.
Entry area was dirty.
We had to wander a bit to find the leasing office. Really poor signage.
Saw 3 other bldgs the same day, all well-run, kept their appointments, helpful, attentive

I you are old enough to have owned a slide rule, it may have been manufactured in this building. Built in the late 1800's as K&E's slide rule factory, it was converted to residential units years ago. The new owners have put in place new management, and have invested heavily in restoration as well as renovation. It is a great place to live!
