No maintenance was done before move in oven is broken and have a rusty washing machine inside the machine. Follow up this post was 4 months ago still Rusty washer which leaves all over clothes management will not help they have gone threw a lot of maintenance managers no grounds keeper they don’t salt when it snows avoid this property at all costs office is not friendly about neighbor situations

These apartments use to be so nice and made us feel really great living here. But things have changed don't know if it's the lack of maintenance or the residents always leaving the pool public areas trashed. There are several rats in the swimming area that have holes behind the BBQ grills. They are almost not even scared of you, and get angry and make noises when yoy walk past them which is not hard to do when they are literally right next to the gate and stairs at the pool entrance. I've lived here for almost 6 years and it use to be so great. But it's one thing after another ! Our water heater was leaking for 4 days before someone come out the work order online kept getting closed out. Now same day as the water heater is "fixed" I have no hot water going on day two! Cant get any answers from one and for as much as I'm made to pay I should have hot water. I deserve a call on the progress or to tell me they come out AGAIN!

My experience at Avena so far has been wonderful. The staff is so great and really knows how to take care of their community. Special thanks to Star and Manuel for a very warm welcoming and support along the way when I had questions, needing and providing updates. My summer was amazing!!! Although we were in a pandemic, the pool was open for residents only. And because I was working from home it felt like I spent my time in a beautiful environment while I worked. The gym was open and I started my fitness journey there until bigger gyms have opened. The price of my unit was also what led me here

Starr was incredible! My friend and I are super indecisive people, and ended up touring the property multiple times. Starr showed us outstanding levels of kindness and patience as we did multiple walk throughs and asked the same (probably dumb) questions a handful of times. We toured a large number of apartment complexes, and walked away from some of them because of unkind office administrators. Starr kept us wanting to come back, and made us feel welcome before we even made the decision to apply. She was extremely informative, and made it clear that Avena was the right choice for us!

Idk who’s the “manager” working in the office but they are one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. Completely unprofessional. She should seriously look for a different career. I felt racially profiled and offended at her attitude towards me, a Latino. After months of delegating an issue I had, I went into the office only to have the police called on me and being screamed at relentlessly. This company does not appear to have any standards when it comes to the cleanliness of their properties. I live in one of their apartment complexes in Colorado and they continuously ignore complaints about garbage all over our parking lot.
Currently, and for the ENTIRE LAST WEEK, have had garbage all over the lot with one of the dumpsters out of… place and the area has not been cleaned up. Complaints have been made to Wasatch as the corporate company before hand and there has been no resolution to the issue.
It is starting to get warm where we are and so it is going to smell disgusting.

Moved in September of 2016. Besides how expensive it is, everything was great up until about a month ago. If you come home past 9pm, you won't get a parking spot. All the carports are taken and you get put on a list for a garage. But with the amount of money we spend in rent, we shouldn't have to pay another $25 or $100 just to park! Absolutely ridiculous.
