We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentist's office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth. Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth.
Dr. J Pediatric Dentistry places "Patients First". We believe that every patient/family that enters our doors deserves to be treated with respect in a friendly environment, and as a unique individual. We are fully bilingual (Spanish-English) practice. We provide comprehensive oral health care for infants, children, and adolescents.
We accept Indiana Medicaid and most major private insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment. We will, as a courtesy to you, submit all insurance claims for you. All attempts will be made so you receive full insurance benefits; however, the responsible person shown on our records, not the insurance carrier, is financially responsible for payment.
Oral conscious sedation is used to facilitate your child's treatment. Based on your child's needs and anxiety level, there are several types of oral sedation that we can use. Regardless of the type of sedation we choose to use on your child, your child is not to eat or drink anything after midnight the day before the appointment.
Crowns have a variety of uses. In some cases that require a large filling, there isn't enough tooth remaining to keep the filling in place. A crown can strengthen the tooth and hold the filling. Crowns can also protect teeth that are weak or help fix ones that are broken. Discolored or misshaped teeth can be covered by a crown, as can dental implants.

Absolutely 110% satisfied!! My son needed a unexpected extraction of two teeth, and they got us in SAME day as the initial appointment, because they were genuinely concerned to get those teeth out!! Dr J and his staff are warm, personable, and really made sure we were comfortable and knew the steps of the procedure and aftercare of the extraction. Extra praise to Dr J for his "Deer story" to distract my son during the numbing process! And extra praise to Rose, the assistant for keeping my son so calm with her soothing!! I will recommend them to anyone with children in need of a kind and knowledgeable

Staff is sweet, professional, polite and friendly. The place is spotless clean and beautifully decorated for children to feel good there. Dr. J is beyond sweet and professional with his patients. Your children will receive the kind of treatment they deserve! He is the best Pediatric dentist in Indianapolis! My son and I love them and so will you!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! My kids were both scared to be at the dentist and Dr. J and his awesome staff made them actually like being there! He also made a point to get to know me, explain everything really well and even showed me a picture of his ADORABLE dog! I could not recommend him and his staff highly enough.

This is the best pediatric dentist I've ever taken my children to. They were so sweet and had patience and compassion. My four year old is autistic and the dentist handled that perfectly. I will definitely be keeping my son's appointments. I highly recommend Dr. J Pediatric Dentistry it's convenient on Pendleton Pike and that's just one awesome thing about them.

My grandson was told he needed extensive work done, and needed to be put out for the dental work. The office was busy and chaotic, but everyone was friendly. His surgery was scheduled for today, (this was scheduled a few months out, given a packet of information). We showed up to Carmel Surgery center this morning 6:30 am to find that the doctor wasn't even there, and my grandson was not even on the schedule. When we called the office, we were told it had been cancelled and they had called and text this information. In today's world of expensive cell phones, there are records of this type of thing

Dr. Andrew did a flawless job on the treatment of cavities on my four year olds two front teeth. He was so easy going and kept my son completely at ease in a new-to-him, intimidating environment. We returned today, this time with all three of my children and the experience was just as great as the first one. I would HIGHLY recommend this office. All of the staff collectively have been nothing short of perfect.
