This was the first time we have gotten food from Luigi's since the change in management. Let me say, the food did not disappoint. We lived in Itsly for 3 years and I would put any one of the meals four entrees we ordered against any meal we ate in Italy. We ordered 4 entrees for our family of 5 and had enough leftovers for 4 lunches the next day.

Everything started out normal for a Friday night at a quarter of 6 when we showed up to the restaurant. A normal amount of people waiting in line and a normal wait time - about 15-20 minutes. No problem.
Then I watched as folks came in and queued at the hostess station. They waited for a couple minutes, but when the hostess didn't show up to take their names, they turned and walked out.
When the hostess finally returned to her station, she took a couple names and disappeared again. More folks came in, waited, then left because the hostess was nowhere in sight.
After 20 minutes, we were seated

Our food was absolutely amazing. Everything from the appetizer, the bread, our entrees and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better. We love how modern the restaurant is. It’s also impressively cleaned and well spaced. It still feels like an Italian restaurant but in a refined but not pretentious way. We came for lunch and my kiddo got a very generous kids portion of spaghetti and I got the capers salad and the piccata. Adding chicken was totally worth it. It all tasted so good. I know it sounds silly, but you can tell a lot about a place by the quality of fresh tomatoes, these were perfect

Wow! Must say had to come all the way to Leavenworth Kansas to have traditional “my taste of Italy” Amazing chicken parmigiana pounded and breaded to perfection. Mozzarella sticks authentic, large, hot and cheesy! A meal in its self. Unlimited bread with amazing olive oil and the pizza is so hearty and large you will need friends to help you enjoy. The service is impeccable and as said above the food is delicious. so if your ever looking for the best Italian cuisine outside of Italy or little Italy look no further luigis 418 Is the place to give you a true taste, and slice of home.
