Baan Thai Restaurant

I was in the local area for work and was tired of eating salads so I decided to try Baan. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow with tofu for pick up. All the flavors were there and I really enjoyed how they cooked the tofu however since I ordered it for pickup the box was super hot and made the noodles stick together almost like a casserole. That's really my fault as I figured the noodles would do that and should've just dined in to avoid that.

I do still recommend this place, just dine in. They have plenty of space.

Baan Thai is my absolute favorite Thai food and my go-to spot in Leavenworth for takeout. There is nothing better than a Friday night and a bowl of their noodles! We've tried the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, and a variety of appetizers. Everything is always delicious and flavorful! Service has also always been great, and fast. If you're a local or just passing through, consider stopping in!

A popular place for thai food in a town with limited dining options. The food is good, but nothing particularly fancy. They are a reliable restaurant in the area and open when others may be closed. They do have an extensive menu, reasonably priced, and large portions. Despite the 3 star rating I eat here everytime I am in town and will continue to do so in the future.

Great service and my meal was very good. Only reason for the missing star would be the sewage smell as you walk in the door.

It was ok la. Service was slow and not well organized, but based on the location which as we expected. The portion was about right based on the price. The disk smell very good, but it was a little heavy on the peanut sauce and strong after taste. Overall food is delicious in different way.

Thursday evening was not busy at all, so I had very quick and friendly service. Crab rangoon and yellow curry were delicious. Generous portions. I had enough leftover for lunch the next day. I'll definitely return.

The food here is so good! This is one of the the top girls' night comfort food destinations for my friends and I. The menu is extensive and everything is reasonably priced with good portions. The crab rangoons are probably the best I've had.

This is not exactly what I would call a romantic date night place, but it's a big quirky restaurant that can easily seat groups and that will not disappoint food-wise. Already looking forward to my next time back.

SO DELICIOUS!!!! I ate here back in 2018/2019 timeframe and don't remember it being this good. Oh my goodness, I was so pleasantly surprised. I had the roti and curry to start and me and a friend shared the F4 (a noodle dish with vegetables) and the broccoli with brown gravy sauce. We dined in and service was excellent. Everything was top notch. And we had leftovers. I can tell now that Baan Thai is going to be one of my frequent takeout dinner options.

Man what a place to eat, started off with a Thai tea I couldn't get another one because I wouldn't be able to eat if I did. One of the best non alcoholic drinks I have ever had. Then I got the goong gra borg(shrimp fried in spring roll wrappers), it was amazing. For my meal I ordered pad sew eew what a meal. It came out fresh and hot, it came right if the stove when I got it that doesn't happen often. Do yourself a favor and ignore the negative reviews of this place. Even Leo my waiter was top notch. 8 will be coming back with my family.

Absolutely delicious every time. My fave is the pad preaw wan. For app I love their spring rolls. My daughter loves the spring rolls as well and the chicken satay. Who knew this would be an 11yr old fave place. 😉

So pleased! I'll be back! Let me first say that I am not a Thai food connoisseur. However, I do know good flavor. The Pad Thai was a 10/10! The sauce that accompanies the Pot Stickers left me wondering what ingredients they blended to make such a unique and delicious flavor. I wish I lived here so I could come back to sample everything they offer. They we're swamped and under staffed this particular night, but despite the challenges our waiter was great and the food came out quicker than expected.

A Very clean and roomy Thai restaurant. Service was prompt and the food was very good. We only had light lunches so I reserved the 5star for a return dinning experience in the evening. Definitely a do again!

Very nice service. Garlic chicken entree was tasty. Tom yum soup was good. Both served piping hot, the way I like my food. Seasoning was on point. I'll be back to this restaurant. COVID-19 precautions in place

This is a regular spot for us where the food is always amazing and delicious. Portion sizes are robust and service is generally above average. On a couple of occasions meals have been delivered to our table at different times which is awkward as kitchen staff should know to present at the same time, but this has only happened twice in our couple of dozen experiences.

Really wanted to love everything about Baan Thai. We had takeout during our first night in town. We had basil fried rice, crab fried rice, beef pad thai, pork rib appetizer, and fried spring rolls.

The basil fried rice was delicious and very generous with the protein. The crab fried rice, however, barely had any crab. The pad thai was a little too sweet for my taste. We usually LOVE Baan Thai and have been loyal customers since they were located on 7th St, but we were extremely disappointed tonight with the customer service or lack thereof.
It took more than 15 minutes… before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. Once we got seated we waited for another 30 minutes and were not even offered water. We finally had enough after the owner visited almost every other table but completely disregarded that we were even there.
We have experienced slow service before but nothing like this. I sure hope they can work through these issues as this is one of

One of the best Thia restaurants I have eaten at, and I have had Thai all across the country. My favorite dishes are the Pad Ke Mow with tofu and their currys are all really good, with duck curry being my favorite. My wife really likes their Pad Thia. Unfortunately I don't have any photos. When I first found them they were in a tiny shop with 8 tables and 2 personnel. They have come a long way and even opened another location.

We were here last year but I forgot to yelp this wonderful establishment. It is still has the same great food and fast service as last time. Who would've thought that Kansas had such good Thai food. Thank you for the yummy Thai food.

P.S. Siam Sling was the drink to get. It was sooooo good.

I have been here over the last 4 years more times than I can count. Countless red curries have been enjoyed , and delicious Thai teas drank.


The atmosphere is very ornate, which is surprising in Leavenworth. The servers know us, and can now even remember what we love to order ( red curry).
The building could use some updating. The bathrooms, and people I never comment on bathrooms in a Yelp review. Theirs are pristine and spotless!

The crab Rangoon are amazing. They have a wrapper thin and crisp like a fried spring roll. The filling is peppery and creamy. My descriptive words may become ridiculous
