GDI continues to cultivate a growing audience by increasing the number of performers and partnerships resulting in greater community support. A variety of dance classes are taught from two-stepping, swing, salsa to Cowboy Cha-Cha, adults are able to learn some grand dance steps. Classes are taught at the Boettcher Boys and Girls Club.

Expressions of an Activist premiered in 2003 at University of Denver. The story of Amistad, the famous slave revolt (La Amistad, the Spanish word for friendship), centers on the legal status of Africans caught and brought to America on a Spanish slave ship in 1839.

I have been blessed to work for Grand Design, Inc., for over 10-years. Having the opportunity to be a part of a "diamond in the rough" organization has been rewarding and humbling. In every community, there are a number of boys and girls left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more.
