At George Allen Shoes the last comes first. A last is the wood or plastic model in which a shoe is manufactured on. There are many types of lasts for different arch types and foot shapes that people have. We strive to fit and educate our patients on the type of last that will best suit their individual foot shape.
Participants in the government Medicare program Part B who are diagnosed Diabetic may be eligible for one pair of diabetic shoes and 3 pairs of diabetic inserts per calendar year. Please print out the instruction form and medical form for your medical doctor to sign. It must be the medical doctor who is treating you for your diabetic condition.
