Chad is an Idaho native along with his wife and their four adult children. He graduated from the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii in 1992 with a degree in Christian Ministry and spent close to 20 years working in various leadership roles in a church setting. Chad then developed the Reveal Mission to provide compassionate photography and storytelling art therapies for cancer, body image and life-altering experiences.
Many times patients and families mention they "wish they had called hospice sooner." Sometimes this isn't an option. Often patients may be in an eminent situation, where a decision must be made during crisis, you may feel that at that time, hospice is no longer an option. However, it is! Hospice care can be started the same day as the referral is made.
Doctor's Hospice of Idaho believes that the fundamental goals of hospice care are to bring comfort and promote the dignity of terminally ill people while alleviating physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. Hospice care neither extends nor hastens the dying process. Instead, hospice focuses on soothing, calming and relief; it is not curative.
While the decision on when to consider hospice care may seem overwhelming, everyone at Doctor's Hospice of Idaho strives to make the hospice referral process as accommodating as possible, anticipating your needs whenever we can and addressing all of your concerns. As a medical provider I offer choice of agencies when a patient or family elects hospice. I have worked closely with this hospice team. When my patients choose Doctors Hospice of Idaho I am comforted to know they will receive exemplary care from the medical and nursing staff, chaplains, social workers, aides and office support. I had the opportunity to check in with two families served by the team this week. Both families and patients expressed confidence, comfort and gratitude for the personal and professional service they receive. I highly recommend Doctors Hospice of Idaho.

I have been a nurse in the valley for 14 years. I have had the privilege of working with many hospice companies in the area. Doctors Hospice is the absolute best I have come across. Doctors Hospice of Idaho offers truly compassionate care. The nursing team is amazing. They have a fast response time and are available to help when needed. Tina and Kylie in the front office are accessible by phone or drop in. In my opinion they are the best hospice in the Boise area. They even have transportation, which is a huge benefit to patients who are wheelchair bound or unable to travel by car.

Having worked with the team at Doctor's Hospice of Idaho I can say without a doubt that they have one of the finest hospice teams in the Treasure Valley. The owners Shaw and Cody are hands on and willing to go above and beyond to care for their clients. The care that they and their whole team put into their work shows, as they support both the patient and the family. I highly recommend them for your family!
