Phoenix Yoga & Wellness
We are honored that you are considering joining us at Phoenix Yoga. Established in 2014, and now in our 6th year, our vision is to encourage community while providing instruction & guidance that is up to date, anatomically sound, and encourages the student to explore the depths of their practice on and off the mat (or Reformer!)

Each instructor brings their own unique background, style, and experiences to the studio. No matter the class level or type, we consistently provide students with a comfortable, clean, and welcoming space to grow their practice from beginner and beyond.
Services
Our studio provides a welcoming, non competitive space to start or grow your yoga practice. Our instructors and class offerings are all unique, so we encourage you to find the yoga that you love. New to Yoga? Check out our 4 week beginners series here, or schedule a private lesson, or see our open level classes.
Phoenix utilizes her experience in all three areas to create unique classes unlike any other that are safe, effective, and rooted in technique. No experience is necessary, however participants should be in good health and injury free. Note: to keep social distancing, we do not use a shared barre. We sometimes use individual chairs, and other times, we go barreless!
At our studio, Phoenix uses the STOTT PILATES(R) method as a foundation for her pilates classes, which is the contemporary approach to the classical method created by Joseph Pilates. She is level 1 certified in Matwork & Reformer, has taken several continuing education courses to enhance her teaching, and brings in her knowledge of movement and anatomy from her background in dance and yoga.
Reformer classes build core strength and stability, improve your posture, increase flexibility and balance, prevent injury, relieve stress, and tone your entire body. This type of workout gets you real results that are functional and maintainable. So that you can get familiar with reformer and have a positive experience, we strongly recommended those new to reformer start with a 1:1 or 2:1 session, and/or join our 3 week beginners series.
We are so honored that you are considering beginning your YOGA/PILATES/BARRE journey with us! Group classes are appropriate for those who are injury free. We recommend students who have concerns schedule a private session to learn modifications prior to joining group classes. We want your experience to be a positive and safe one!

Go here and try a reformer class! And barre! It is so much fun. Phoenix is hilarious and approachable, and it's easy to follow along. As someone who is not the most coordinated, I never feel self conscious in this setting, whether it's barre, yoga, or reformer classes. If you're looking for something low impact for your joints that's still a challenge, try this studio out!!

My daughters and I been having private sessions with Phoenix for about a month now after my neurosurgeon suggested Yoga to help my back and joint issues. I've never practiced yoga before but my daughters and I have been very happy with the experience so far. Phoenix is very sensitive to physical, and intellectual difficulties and adapts the class to our needs, breaking down the instructions so we can keep up and get the most out of our time with her.
Our last session was a restorative practice which left us all feeling relaxed and de-stressed.
It's a great, healthy way to spend time

If a studio and the wonderful people teaching in it can create an environment where you not only feel supported but challenged, you are in a worthwhile place. But take that a step further... fill it with fellow students who care about each other. Make it glow with just the right lighting and have it be just the right amount of space for the perfect number of students. Have teachers who offer different vibes and teaching styles. And have an owner who is consistently looking for new and exciting ways to challenge her students and help them grow in both their physical and spiritual practices... and

This awesome studio has changed my entire life. Three years ago I decided to return to doing yoga after a few years break and I was blown away by how kind and supportive of a community the studio was. I learned a more vigorous style of yoga that I hadn’t tried before (Vinyasa) and I made improvements in both body and mind by consistent practice. But the biggest changes were to come a year later when Pilates was added to the studios offerings. Thanks to Reformer classes I am slimmer and stronger at 60 than I was at 30. I can’t recommend Phoenix Yoga highly enough.

Pilates Reformer is great for any age! I cannot explain how much stronger I feel with just going 1X a week. Great patient teachers, if you have never tried you must give yourself a gift of one class. Private lessons also available in a very relaxed setting. Thank you Phoenix!

Great place to practice! There is a variety of classes, although I wish more were offered on the weekends. I can no longer attend because I moved out of town, but I highly recommend trying this studio!

A warm and inviting studio especially for a new member. A first timer to yoga I know this is how a studio should look and make me feel. The class schedule and teachers are motivating and well trained.

Phoenix Yoga & Wellness is a sanctuary. I've been to many yoga studios in many cities and many states over the past decade... and I have never found any place like this before. It really is special.  I would consider myself somewhat of a "yogi nomad" never really finding that studio that resonated with me...however I've found my home. Seymour & the Valley is blessed to have this offering to it's community.

The teachers are loving, personable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They provide caring instructions accompanied by healing words to guide you through your
