Pilates is for Every Body! Pilates is a series of exercises that strengthen and lengthen your muscles while improving your breathing and coordination. We use a variety of Pilates equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac, and more. It's all about moving with comfort and ease! Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects wrong postures, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and elevates the spirit.

Pilates is the mind and body working together to create concentrated, precise centered movement that changes your body and your mind.
Pilates is a unique exercise system that Joseph Pilates created throughout his life (1884- 1966). The exercises are based on the idea that all movement is initiated from the core of the body or as Joe called it, "The Powerhouse". Pilates works to lengthen and strengthen muscles to allow for balanced muscle development.
The objective is to achieve your goals inclusive of improving flexibility and strength and providing an overall sense of well being. Or if you prefer to practice Pilates on your own, peruse the Video Library, then select a video that matches your practice. Each session is 55 minutes long and can include the use of a variety of Pilates equipment.
The Video Library is a great way to practice Pilates in the comfort of your home. Add Pilates to your regular workout routine and notice the difference. You will find a variety of videos in the Video Library. Videos vary in length of time, focus of workout and intensity. Some videos use simple equipment such as: resistance bands - long or loop, 5-7 in ball, magic circle, physio ball and/or light weights.
Northbound from Route 7 - take a right onto Still Water Drive at the corner of Webster Bank. Follow several miles, over Lover's Leap Bridge and along the river. After passing the sports club take the second left onto South Ave. At the second stop sign make a left onto West Street. Follow to the second stop sign, take a left onto West Street and follow to the end.
