You and your staff clearly operate from the heart, and that's a rare gift. After my total knee replacement surgery, BVHC became my home for 36 days. You, all the the office staff, nurses, CNAs, therapists, cooks, maintenance, housekeeping and everyone here became my new family - loving family!

DO NOT COME HERE OR BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. I can’t put into words how frustrated I am but I will try. We have had a horrible experience. I tried to be patient as I assume working and adjusting through a pandemic must be tough. But my father’s intermittent stay here was absolutely a disaster and has left the worst impression on me. Communication here is trash. No one returns calls, nurses seem either clueless or unconcerned. My father was rushed to the hospital multiple times since he was admitted here but this most recent time at some point the ER called this facility for basic information

Dreadful facility. Employees stole my mothers clothes an d possessions. Nothing was done. Not even an apology. She was left lying in bed with just a shirt and dirty diaper when she was sent for rehab to walk again. She left weaker than she went in. Took 12 weeks of Pt to get her back. They deliberately kept her until Medicare ran out all while not helping her and lying about it.

Sent i be here i had noting but experience the woman here after 12:00 am they sit around and do nothing one of the nurses come in a started to open my water cup and as a result i want to take a drink and it spilled my life to content all over my bed and on me. way she open.she did not close it back. And if that was not enough some stole my phone that was in my drawer. then they did not wake me up and give me my med so needy to that has been the worse experience life right my back is hurting i have my gabapenttin i am tired of asking for my med.

I was s resident here a couple years ago, for about 6 weeks, and feel so fortunate that my hospital's case worker was able to place me there for the 6 well therapy my physician had ordered. Since that time i have shared my experience with many, & realize that at least here in SD county we do not have many facilities available that meet the high standards Bells Vista had to offer, well, that all facilities should offer, period. Like many, I was ignorant regarding the expectations one should expect from them, and it took a car accident followed with several surgeries and subsequent stays at such

Belle Vista Health Center is AMAZING. We spent numerous days searching all over San Diego for a facility where my mother could go to rehab after her stroke. We stumbled upon Belle Vista--the best kept skilled nursing secret in San Diego. The staff treats my mother as if she were their mother. We could not ask for a group of kinder or more compassionate group of people. I wish I could give it more that 5 stars.
