At Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, our goal is to treat advanced and/or complex dental issues to give pets a better quality of life. In cases where your primary care veterinarian is unable to treat your pet, our cat and dog dentist can provide compassionate, expert treatment. Comprehensive cat and dog teeth cleaning is a critical but often overlooked component of pet wellness.
Along with treating your pets, we offer education to you about the need for veterinary dentistry and the myriad of benefits it can yield for pets of all ages and sizes. Due to our board-certified veterinary dentistTM specialty training, we offer so much more than your basic oral exams and teeth cleanings.

Services
Our specialists in Grapevine and Lewisville are committed to preventing and treating various oral diseases in pets by providing comprehensive veterinary dental services. Routine dental care is often neglected, resulting in many pets living with dental disease by 3 years of age. Our goal is to inform pet owners about the benefits of proper dental care and the issues that may occur if care is delayed.
Providing state-of-the-art specialty dentistry services is our highest priority at Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery. Our board-certified specialists are more than dental veterinarians; they have completed years of training not only in dentistry but also anesthesia, monitoring, and pain management.
Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery offers services that are much more complex and advanced than those provided at a general veterinary practice. Our board-certified veterinary dental specialists have years of training and experience in the most current oral surgery techniques, anesthesia, and pain management protocols.
The increased sophistication of veterinary medicine and increasingly important role of pets in our society has resulted in the emergence of a number of veterinary specialties comparable to those in human medicine (e.g., cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, internists, dermatologists, and dentists).
At Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, we are very fortunate to share the Animal Emergency & Veterinary Specialty Center, a large multi-specialty hospital with a full complement of veterinary specialists. If you are interested in pursuing a career in veterinary dentistry, read through our available veterinary jobs to see if one is the right fit for you.

Great doctors! Best we have found in the DFW area! We’ve taken both of our cats in and had an excellent experience. They are completely dedicated to dental work and their professional demeanor was outstanding. They do have a bit of a waiting list but it’s well worth it to have such knowledgeable staff taking care of our pets.

My 10-year old cat Elvis had to have all of his teeth extracted. I was very worried and upset. Dr. Nossbaum immediately put both of us at ease. She got down on the floor to talk to my cat and he didn't hiss at her (great praise). She answered all of my many questions very kindly and professionally. The entire staff was amazing -each person I interacted with was informative. They were patient each time I called and took time to update me. Elvis is home and healing and doing very well. Although the services are expensive, it is worth it to have a veterinarian that is highly trained and skilled in

One of the best run clinics I've ever seen! They are professional, courteous, and caring. The type of place that makes you feel like your dog is the only patient there, when they are talking to you. They called numerous times to give us status updates. I highly recommend using them for your pets dental needs.

I found a bruise on my dog's tooth and I was told by a veterinarian in my life that I need to get it checked immediately because it seems like pulpitis and if it doesn't get fixed ASAP that my dog could lose his tooth. It was a canine tooth so it's very important and he's only 4. I was pretty flustered by this and scrambled to find a vet dentist in the area that could see him quickly. I even called around to Austin locations and almost everyone couldn't get me for a month out or even further. I called Dallas Veterinary Dentistry pretty emotionally stressed and with some tears and they got me in

Patient for life, now.
My dog has boxer mouth (gingival hyperplasia) and she's had her teeth cleaned every year for many years. But we knew at some point her gums would have to be reduced and cut back.
Now she is over 10 years old we knew we were going to need a specialist. She also had a large mass on the front of her gum. I chose Dallas Veterinary dentistry and they gave us upfront costs on every procedure and also stuck with those costs. They take pictures of every angle of each procedure and show you exactly what they did. It's amazing that they give such good explanations and really help
