Take my word and don't select Palermo. First, I was promised a move-in date on 07/10/21 and when I arrived to California the day before, my room wasn't ready. No one bothered to reach out and had to find out via a phone call I made prior to arriving at the apartment. I had to find a hotel for a full week (with no reimbursement, only a "sorry"). Additionally - during my first week in the apartment, my pipes began producing brown water (in the toilet, shower, kitchen sink, etc.). I showered in brown water for 2 days. This was not the only occurrence of brown water, it has spontaneously

Potheads, domestic abusers, rude neighbors, dogs barking throughout the night. I live across the way and I swear they've been taking ANY rental application!!! All I ask is keep it down from 10pm to 6am! Sounds pretty reasonable? Notice all these reviews are 2+ years ago because they've stopped caring about quality of life for their tenants.

As I was reading reviews for this place, I couldn't help but noticing how the management ONLY comments on good reviews, but nothing on bad reviews. As if they don't see those reviews (or they just don't care). Shame on them for the poor management and disciplinary actions that they take (or don't take), after having to submit complaints for crazy neighbors! Please DO NOT LIVE HERE!! for the same price, I'm sure you can find a peaceful home with better community and staff!" I've lived at Palermo for almost 4 months, and have to say the management at the property and off-site will continue to feed you lies and tell you want to hear, until you leave them alone.
My girlfriend and I moved into a unit on the 3rd floor, expecting a peaceful and quiet community as we saw during our initial visit. Little did we know that the tenant living in the unit directly below us was mentally ill and caused noise disturbances every day in the middle of the night into the morning. He was screaming, singing, breaking things in his home, and we didn't feel safe to confront him

I have been living at the complex for over 3 months now. Super friendly on-site staff. Big props to Fernando who has taken care of our random maintenance requests and is handled in a timely manner. The cleaning lady, Silvia is super sweet and friendly. The Sicily model is very unique yet different especially the walk-in closest as it's combined with the linen closet. My only little negative is the lack of storage in the one bedroom model, but having little storage helps to eliminate clutter. I am living the good and comfortable life at Palermo so far and look forward in living here long-term

I have been living here for about 2.5 years. So far I have no complaints about the apartment. My neighbors are nice and also management staffs are accommodating to my needs. It is a dog friendly apartment, the only feedback I would like to add is apartment needs to plant more grass for the dogs to go potty or add the doggie lawns.
Sylvia, the housekeeper is really working hard to keep this apartment as clean as possible.

Nice people and very responsive management. The cleaning and maintenance team are working hard every day. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and professionally. On-site management is a real perk when you have a question or concern. The heated pool is kept very clean. Secure underground parking is helpful. Happy to be living here!

This place sucks. There are so many problems in this apartment and once one is FINALLY fixed, 5 more appear. First out internet would just go away off for no reason and fluctuated and then our lights would constantly flicker. Then those were fixed and more problems arose. DO NOT LIVE HERE. You will not get what you pay for.

If you have a family and you want a good life and a good future don't live in this place. You're better off finding another place. Even though we had a special condition we could not get any assistance from the property management. We were forced to leave because of our special situation. What a terrible mistake I did thinking about this place. Until now I'm paying for this mistake. Shame!

No apartment is perfect. Period. End of story. I don't rate an apartment on the issues that may occur...I rate them based on the staff's response to the issue. When there is an issue with my apartment, the management team is there to ensure that is issue is corrected as quickly as possible. If there was an issue about noise, the staff will address the issue via written correspondence reminding everyone about the quiet hours. If I had issues with flooding from my bathroom

After living here for a few years, l was really sad to leave. The building itself was nice, and the management was always very pleasant and always willing to help. I know I had my share of mishaps, but they always were easily attainable to help me out. The fact that there was a pool and a fitness room was a plus. I truly recommend this place. It is conveniently located to absolutely everything.

Still horrible living situation at Palermo.
My car got towed because management did not give me the parking space on time and there is no public parking around this complex!!! All the streets are over crowded with cars around this apartment complex and nasty fumes and noises and dusts comes from CARMAX right next door. If you have a visitor, just let them park far away and have them walk thousands of miles to visit your apt. That was the only way for me and other teneants complain that parking is horrible if you have a visitor. Ppl always move in and out every weekend and block all the stairs and

Clean, ok for the price! No storage, parking sucks for tenants and non residents. Parking for tenants really is the worst that I have ever seen or lived in! My car was constantly being scratched by other tenants on both sides of vehicle, one time the cars parked on both sides of me parked so close I couldn't get out of car and literally had to get out of the trunk, thank god I have a hatch back!!!!I complained to management from day 1 regarding this issue. But really what can they do?!? They didn't design the parking structure! Just glad that my lease is up and realized the mistake of

This is the worst place i ever lived. the manager kept parking at my parking space which i paid with expensive rent. the manager kept letting the maintenance workers to park at my parking space. there is no parking space around this apartment. parking really sucks and there are always noise from the pool all day during summer !!! this apartment is over priced for it's poor quality. you can hear loud foot steps from upstairs which drives you nuts

For such a "high-end" apartment building, I'm shocked at how the residents treat the building & how management does nothing to keep this building safe. You have to watch your laundry as other tenants will take out your dryer load & out theirs in so they don't have to pay. Dogs urinate everywhere, walkways, elevator, hallways. Many are off leash & bite other dogs, taking no responsibility. The building behind has gang bangers that constantly party & hit cars in the back parking lot. Neighbors in the front of building sneak into gated parking garage & steal
