Ashton Green was the first apartment we moved into upon moving from out of state to MD. We lived in Ashton for a little over 4 years. The first two years were OK until Klingbeil Capital Management took over about two years ago. This management company made this place HOME for us. Their exceptional customer service and genuine effort in making Ashton Green a safe and welcoming environment to all, will forever be appreciated and cherished. This is a testament not only to leadership of Mr. Mike, the Property Manager but also Mr. Jeff, Maintenance Supervisor and his amazing team.

I have lived at Ashton Green for 6 years. within the 6 years, We have good management. The front office management is awesome!!! Mr. Mike is always nice and takes the time to talk to you. Mr. Jeff from maintenance is wonderful, he too is very polite and if there is anything wrong with anything in my home he makes sure it will get fixed no matter what! I know Ashton Green has a contractor worker that cleans the property, there is a young lady that is so nice and friendly. I really enjoy where I live and my neighbors are nice too. I give Ashton Green 4 stars!

I live in this Community for the past 3 years, they changed the management company, and it's being good so far.
Yes, the renovated units are the best, but the old ones like mine it's not bad at all.
The new manager is really responsive and helpful, the maintenance guys are the best , they are so friendly, responsible and respectful!!!

Update: I’m updating my review to reflect the improvements at this property. My previous review was based on previous staff and conditions. Ashton Green has a whole new team and they are awesome! Things have improved 100%. The new manager, Michael is excellent! He is friendly, fair, and professional. He listens and he gets things done. The new maintenance team is experienced, friendly, and professional. There has been a positive turn around. When I first arrived to this property, things were not good. However, the new team has worked hard to improve things. They even have a great new landscaping

I lived in the complex for 4 years, and in 3 differen units, and I had a very good experience. The staff was always friendly and responsive. I LOVED the location. I moved out of state for work, which is why I left, otherwise I would have renewed my lease yet again. The new rennovated units are gorgeous. It is a very quiet community thats tucked off in the heart of Columbia. I miss it!

I've been living here since 2015. I love the location! Grocery store, parks, and mall very close. My only dissatisfaction is management and how they have poorly handled some situations. First, I was told I would get a credit for referring tenants. My best friend moved into the complex almost a year ago and they never held up to their word. They kept dismissing me telling they would check into it and never heard about it, so that was a little bit of a turn off. The second situation I had is when they came to change my washer and dryer. The day they came in I wasn't previously notified. They changed

My faucet had been dripping for a week and I finally called to have someone come in and fix it. When I came home this evening I noticed that the paper cup that I had placed in the sink to catch the dripping water was still in the sink and the faucet had not been fixed. I called the rental office to see why no one had either not come to the apartment or left a note letting me know that there needed a part ordered to fix the faucet. None of that. Instead Rachel the lady I spoke with at the rental office informed me that someone came into my apartment but that there was nothing wrong with the faucet

My husband and I moved here 1 year ago and we put up with living here because out of all the apartments we have looked at weren't even worth it. Except for the newer apartment buildings built in the last 3 years because we know it's out of our price range. Neighbors like leaving there trash outside of there door instead of walking it to the dumpster. I mean I don't like going to the dumpster but I do! My husband has complained to the rental office but he said when he told them they just act like they didn't care. The trash in the picture below has been in back of the building

This has been one of favorite apartment communities to live in. The office and maintenance staff are always there to assist and they are friendly and professional. The grounds are well kept and the apartments are cozy. It's quiet for the most part. There's a pool which is a plus because you have pay or have a membership to use the community pools throughout Columbia. It's close to EVERYTHING while being off the beaten path. I love it here.

When we moved here, it was called "Columbia Avalon" and it was great living in this community. The property was cleaned on a daily basis. Never had an issue with snow removal and the neighborhood was one of the best in this area. Then it was taken over by "Ashton Greene" and still we had a great experience. With the new management "Gables Residential" it honestly is a nightmare. I'm not going to bash them but let's just say we are moving after calling this location home for seven years. It is a shame because life here use to be great. I wish everyone who moves here the best and make your own judgment
