I have lived her for almost 3 years. The staff is amazing. They are understanding, patient and compassionate. The property is always clean and the landscaping is top notch, and the laundry rooms are cleaned daily. I find Shadow Ridge a very pleasant place to live. I love most of my neighbors! My dog loves laying on my patio soaking up the sun. Thank you Shadow Ridge!

- The location is probably the best for miles around. Everything you need is in close proximity and it has easy access to the expressways.
- Management were friendly and very timely
- Good amount of space compared to other 1 bedrooms in surrounding area
- Amenities were in good condition
- Amazon hub locker is a huge plus

- No in-unit laundry and the community washers and dryers were usually broken.
- No A/C
- Some owners did not want to follow protocols about having dogs on-leash.
- A little higher in price than other apartments

Just wanted to give an update. We have been living here at Shadow Ridge now for 3 months now and is has been; "Prefect!" We moved from our home of 5 years in Arizona and were very nervous to make the transition to apartment living. Sylvanna, Tim, and the rest of the management has made us feel like family! If you are looking for paradise with a great staff, at a great cost of living, Shadow Ridge is for you! Great place, beautiful amenities, and helpful staff.

The management and matainence are excellent at Shadowridge Apt/Homes to start with .
My wife and I have been living here for over a year and have had typical issues you have with any home come up and they were delt with in short order in an efficient and professional manner.
Parking isn't much of a problem which I see it is at many complexes.
The pool, hot tub and work out facilities are well kept and up grades are made on a constant basis. Barry and Debbie

I absolutely love this apartment complex! Sylvanna is seriously so amazing in apartment management because she always answers emails quickly, and the maintenance team is the best I have ever seen.
There are so many pluses to living here:
+ Easy/abundant street parking (street sweeping is only on 1st and 3rd Thursdays)
+ Maintenance is quick + super nice - one time I put in a request and they were at my door 30 mins later and fixed it within 10 mins!
+ Sylvanna is super fast at anything that needs management eyes
+ Close to the beach & freeway (without the noise)
+ Tons of food/shops close

I truly am grateful to experience living here at these apartments. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. The maintenance on the property is on top of everything. The amenities are outstanding and the environment is great. Also there is no brees restrictions so there’s different types of dogs and I personally love all the animals people have. The people are friendly and mind their own business so thats also a plus.

Shadow Ridge Apartments is perfect for military families and families with pets. It's close to base and a variety of stores and restaurants. It's quick to freeways which make traveling around the area really nice! They have a dog park within the complex with agility training equipment. The staff are all so nice and accommodating and they make sure that you're taken care of. The apartments are a little dated; we ended up having a hot water pipe burst in our apartment because it was an old copper pipe installed in the 70s. (The only reason for 4/5 stars instead of 5/5) HOWEVER, despite the inconvenience

I love living in this complex! Lots of square footage and gated. Management is super responsive anytime there is an issue or any pests are spotted in the apartment. The complex is indeed near a busy street but that's not the complex's fault. I was first bothered by all the noise but I realized it's just college kids that can't really afford a car and drive a motorcycle or drive with damaged mufflers due to being broke. I now just empathize because I was once a broke college kid. Otherwise, shadow Ridge is awesome!

I absolutely love living here. The staff is super friendly and very understanding. Maintenance is always up to the task and repair things with a smile. Sylvanna is amazing. I love her. If I have any issues with anything she is quick to fix it and is really good at keeping be calm. The grounds are clean and the landscapers have gone out of their way to keep our complex looking beautiful. I have lived here a year so far and hope to live here for many more to come. Thanks Shadow Ridge for making my home so wonderful.

Be very wary of these apartments, the cost is not worth it. The location is busy due to the proximity to the college and the traffic is very loud. The entire grounds are covered in insects and webs and they make no attempt to clean them. The apartments themselves are not secure. The security gates are broken and no attempt to fix them has been made. We regularly had packages stolen. Moving inside, the cabinets in the kitchen are very poor quality and the drawers do not have runners so the wood on wood contact with each opening and closing is loud and causes damages which they will not hesitate

Parking has become a huge issue at Shadowridge if you own more than 1 vehicle. 2 bedrooms only get 1 covered spot. They continue to add reserved spots and are now threating to tow if you park in a non designated reserved spot overnight. I was instructed to park in the boneyard where I've had my car broken into already.
So I was forced out to the street to collect parking tickets. In the mean time, visitors are welcome to park in any open spots. Not cool at all.

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews here, I moved in November 2016 and I have nothing but nice things to say. Staff is wonderful specially Steve. He is so helpful and all around amazing guy. You need anything it gets done within minutes. It's quite, clean and safe. They redid the apartments and honestly they are really nice. I apartment shop for months before I settle on this place, it's great I have nothing but positive experience

The dog park was okay ( don't have a dog)
Did not like that upstairs units have carpet.. even if the reason is for less noise.. don't care...
Pool is very small
Guy at front desk was way too talkative that I couldn't even ask questions...
We walked the property after our tour and saw old socks... underwear... and other dirty clothes just thrown around the property....
Also cigarette boxes out on the lawns... do not live here with pets or children!
Anyway, we were thinking of putting down a deposit but decided

My wife and I loved here and had a great experience! All maintemce issues were handled the same day and the leasing office went above and beyond to help us in anyway they could in a professional manner. I'd like to give kudos to Richard and John in maintenance, and Will and Lizin the leasing office. They really took care of us. I was nervous after reading some of their reviews, but our experience was nothing but great. We would still be living there and would have resigned our lease had I not gotten a new job out of state. I highly recommend this property.

UPDATE: there was a SHOOTING right by the pool. One was killed, another injured. I thought it couldn't get worse. It did

Nonetheless, the mold will be back because they didn't take care of the core of the problem by replacing the wood. There were little specks under the sink that looked like pepper. I didn't think much of it at the time. I'll get back to this in a moment

The place was bad when we moved in and throughout our two year lease has progressively gotten worse. There have been at least 3 management teams in over the course of two years none of which were able to do their job. We paid a $500 deposit for our dog and there was no record of it, so they tried to make us pay it again. We were told that after living there for two years (and it is on our lease) that we do not have to pay for painting and carpet. Guess what we are getting charged for..carpet! Cops are there constantly and I am 99% positive our neighbors are drug dealers. It is in no way worth

So glad I got out of here, it was the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex, I would have moved back in with my parents rather then stay here is that was an option. Monthly robberies, zero accountability for car spots or Maintenance. We were literally tricked into signing full year lease, ugh headache come whenever I think about it, but at least it's over!
