I lived in Aurora back in 2014 around the time when they first opened. Since then I've lived in so called "luxury apartments" in Atlanta and now in Los Angeles. To this day, I have not lived anywhere that is even close to on par with Aurora! When you leave Aurora you will miss the excellent customer service, a great maintenance staff, the cleanliness, the amenities, the quality of the apartment space, the various functions with the free food and drinks, the 24hr concierge, and last but not least, the talking elevators. Aurora spoiled me. I constantly tell people how Aurora is

Amazing apartment complex! Fernando was our leasing consultant and was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond from day 1 which made us really want to live here. The apartment and views are gorgeous. Isaac and Jose are absolutely the best!!! Any maintenance issue we've had with our apartment, however minor they have been quick to come and fix it and help. Their service is honestly top notch. Super professional, friendly, and always available when needed. The quality of service from these guys alone makes this apartment truly outstanding. Highly recommend this apartment!

This is my 3rd review, I've lived here almost 4 years now and have to say the customer service here is just unsurpassed. While I've occasionally had my disagreements about things and took a star off during my last review following an upset, potentially likely due to my own high standards and occasional bratty-ness, the office staff is never petty about it nor holds it against me and still goes the extra mile to address all resident concerns. I complained a few times in the winter about hot water running out because I'm a bit of a diva and like to take really long showers and baths

Bottom line, if you don't like paper thin walls and lots of distracting noise (inside and outside...trains and neighbors), then do not live here. A reviewer justifying the noise by saying people should expect this kind of environment, because it's an apartment, is incorrect. I've been renting for more than 20 years and have never had these issues. Having said that, I do blame myself for not anticipating the issues and being more prepared when apartment hunting. I have lived here for 4 days and I already can't wait to move....it's going to be a long year.....

I wrote this prose poem about the aurora apt noise
It's a Noisy place to live
Never ending fright and commuter train noise
Heavy caterpillar crane pile driver noise
Construction equipment percussions
Jackhammer pneumatic piston noise
Loud Acoustic sound vibrations
Incessant Leaf blower whine
Septic tank industrial cleaner noise
Reciprocating saw and banging noise
Remodeling noise using power drills and hammers
Slamming metal doors noise
Engine reviving noises
Screaming children noise
Barking dog noise
Heavy metal electronic hip hop rap music
The noise burst my eardrums
The noise reverberates

Before I moved in I asked for hardwood floors. They did it! I'm the first unit with it and I love them. The concierge is nice. Maintenances nice. The office is nice when they are there. They are slow to respond to emails. My apartment is nice. I wish they replace my bathroom sink bc there are spots that can't be removed and only noticed it after I turned in my move in sheet. I also hate my parking spot. It's so tight I have to make a 3 point turn to enter or leave every time.

This place does not deserve a star at all! I visited this apartment building for a tour when it first opened. I was instantly profiled and treated as if I didn't belong there. Needless to stay, I hope the leasing consultant knows that she deterred an ivy league law graduate with her own private practice, from signing a lease here. Hopefully management has replaced her. Be very attentive when visiting this place. No one should pay their har earned money where your not welcomed!

It's a good building in a safe neighborhood, has a close proximity to metro, a parking garage, and a grocery store across the street.

The building is impeccably clean, the tenants are generally respectful, and the management is as good as it gets.

The gym is big and really clean, it has a golf simulator. The outdoor pool is small but it has a nice waterfall.

The staff are the reason Aurora earns five stars. Peter, Janet, Isaac, Chris, and Joe deserve special recognition: they're honest, fair, consistently friendly, and up-front. They don't let things slip here. If you have an

This is NOT a luxury property; well, not by American standards. Perhaps this is luxury if you're coming from some war-torn nation that's crumbling. With that being said, it's also not public housing or "ghetto" status earning.

This building is just average. If it was luxury, then the largest two bedroom unit wouldn't be a measly 1,160 square feet. I lived a couple of blocks from Chinatown in a one bedroom that was just under 1,200 square feet and that was ACTUAL luxury as opposed to Aurora's impostor status on luxury. Remember, luxury means having room to

Stay away!

If you live here, you will memorize the train schedule as the nearby crossing is extremely loud. The midnight and 3 AM trains always seemed the loudest.

Expect to hear every bump from your neighbors as well as parts of their conversations.

Expect to pay higher and higher rent for less and less amenities.

Joe Mosli, the assistant property manager, has to be one of the rudest and most passive aggressive staff I've ever had the displeasure of encountering.

I recently talked with "Jennifer" who provided shady rent information. I felt like I was being high-balled with car sales tactics. When I asked why I was being given wildly different rent quotes for the same type of unit, she told me "that's just the way the market works." No. Most reputable apartment complexes have relatively set rates that don't fluctuate hundreds of dollars, day to day and tenant to tenant.

Also disappointing is that any time I called to talk with a leasing agent during business hours, everyone was "in a meeting" according to the answering

I moved into the Aurora about a month ago, and so far it's been great. I enjoy the way my 1 bedroom apartment is configured, especially with the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom. Our kitchen is also very spacious and has a nice layout for cooking. The only downside is that we are on the side of the building that faces the train tracks. This hasn't bothered us but the train does make quite a bit of noise which may turn some people off.
Having a concierge has also been great, the staff at Aurora is always friendly and helpful. There is also great parking with a garage

I've lived in a couple apartments in the area at this point, but Aurora will always have a soft spot as their staff is one of the best I've had the best experience with. Whether it's the 24 hour concierge or the amazing personalities of Chris and Janet, this place is definitely worth considering as a place to make your home.

I lived in many different apartments across the nation and Aurora has been the best to me so far. They may not have the cheapest prices, but they offer excellent service, professional staff, and straight forward and fair contracts. The community is great with a lot of diverse professionals and people. I don't have any major complaints and I love their location located next to the 495, 215, and the White Flint Metro. Tons of good food and stores nearby. I never had hassle with the staff on the price of my room, move out costs, early termination, and etc.. They have an honest and transparent

My wife and lived here for one year and had a great experience in our first home together!

Pros:

Apartment: You can tell the apartment appliances and material are quality products and won't have to worry about major issues. The wood cabinets are solid, the granite is beautiful, and the carpets are plush. Train horn never bothered us as we were facing the opposite side. the last 6 months I barely noticed the sound.

Amenities: The business center proved very useful at times when I needed to print out documents for work, or a doctor's appointment. My new apartment doesn't have

What attracted me to this place was the price and how nice and new everything was being the first person to live in the apartment. The building actually looks like the pictures they posted on their website. I'm not sure if there were many neighbors in their 20s like me but seemed like a 30+ and up crew from single to families with kids.

The building has beautiful amenities with the pool the made me feel like I was on vacation somewhere far away from Rockville and stunning club room. (Just wished they both stayed open later).

So, I lived on the side with the train. Yes, it is very loud and

My fiancee moved in December of 2014. We selected this place based on it being slightly cheaper than some older apartments with fewer amenities. The location is great being right next to White Flint Metro and Harris Teeter is right next door. It's also in a very convenient spot right off Rockville Pike and within a few minutes of downtown Bethesda as well as Rockville Town Square. Interstate access is also not far away making my commutes to a bit easier.

The apartment complex was completed in June 2014 and the unit we chose was never inhabited. Our handyman Isaac installed some additional

I just moved here a few weeks ago - these are my initial impressions:

PROS
-Really nice facility
-Staff is friendly
-Convenient location that's close to the metro

CONS
-Our particular unit has very limited overhead lighting (only in the bathrooms, kitchen and living room basically). Even the bedroom with the walk-in closet has no overhead lights in either section. I just use a lot of lamps to make up for it, not a HUGE deal...but whoever designed the unit, that aspect does not seem practical at all.
-Biggest issue is with the noise from the train tracks. It is SO loud to the point it disrupts

This is an excellent apartment! Moved from Florida and leased before arriving. Our leasing agent was Christopher Darden and he was amazing. After weeks of online research, we narrowed it down to 4 apartment complexes..... Aurora being one. Christopher was quick to respond and answered all of our questions. He sent us pictures of the exact units that were available and warned us of the noise from the train. He was

Upon arrival, we were greeted by smiles from an extremely professional staff. Within 15 minutes, we had our keys and we're getting a tour. The apartment is beautifully maintained

Safety, Lifestyle, Family -- Home... I've got them all!

I was amazed and fell in love with this newest skyline apartments. Starting from the concept, structural design, security, community safety, healthy living (smoke-free, clean and green environment) up to its warm and friendly-professional staff, glad I found Aurora!

Location is close to everything... only a few miles from DC, a minute walk from White Flint Metro, Harris Teeter is just outside your door, considering best restaurants are just few blocks away, best Schools are in the area as well.

Amenities are pretty amazing... business
