The building and staff are great. The lobby is welcoming and maintenance team is kind and responsive. My issues are with smoking neighbors (pretty sure this is a non-smoking complex), a good portion of people don't wear their masks, trash being left in the hallways (the Trash Butler instructions are VERY simple!), and people parking in the guest area when they're too lazy or entitled to use the resident garage. I am determined to make this the last apartment that I ever live in, but I've stayed in a total of 4 fairly large complexes and this is by far the best despite the occasional

The Bell Pasadena is a great community - I recently moved in and the process was extremely smooth, everyone was nice and followed up regarding all the needed items for the move.
Since moving in, I've had to put in a few maintenance requests (mostly for minor things, though also our kitchen sink was draining slow due to a small clog) and I've come to realize that the culture of everyone who works here is so supportive of residents. The maintenance team of Juan and Julio are fantastic, always eager to help and get any issue resolved as fast as they can. I really can't say enough good things about

This is a review only about the process as we do not move in until September, 2021. We are moving back to southern California from New York and so taking care of things long distance can be a pain. We were lucky enough to meet up with Maribel to look at the model unit when we were in town. We connected with her immediately as she was warm, funny, and was able to answer all our questions. We moved from another city and didn’t check the apartment in person before. Now we moved in and we found nothing wrong with this property. The apartment is new, the parking space is close to the elevators, staffs are nice, and the location is good. Maribel has been assisting us throughout the entire process and she’s very kind and super responsive. It’s good to live in a property that has nice management.

So far so good! I've lived in a few different complexes over the years and so far this one is the best. The staff know your name and say hello, and the maintenance crew is friendly and responsive. Julio came by within 24 hours of my sink not working and fixed it without any problem in 5 minutes. Neighbors are pretty friendly; not everyone abides by the Trash Butler or mask-wearing rules but definitely a step up from the place I was living before. I live on the top floor and sometimes someone below or next to me will play their TV or music loud at night, but nothing melatonin and ear plugs can't

My experience at Bell Pasadena was amazing; although I only lived there for one year and had to move back home due to the pandemic, I do miss it often! From the moment I arrived to the leasing office, I was greeted by Ben Tam who was courteous and provided much insight. After viewing the complex, I applied the same day for an apartment! My move-in was flawless and everything was ready and set to go. The manager Ben Tam has the worst attitude!! I got several compliant emails form him accusing me of " having loud conversations" during the middle of the nights, which I obviously did not! And I reply him nicely said that I was asleep at that time of the night. And he did not believe it, saying that the resident confirmed it was me making the noises. I was so furious then I go down to he office to talk to him face to face. He basically asked me to admit it because the resident who filed the complain with a voice tape of a man speaking in some Asian language!! I felt discriminated and

Our current apartment was coming to an end and we were on the hunt for a new place. We were looking specifically for a 1x1 unit with a loft or a 2x2 unit. We visited a few places in the span of a week and Bell was by far the best option for us.
They had one 1x1 loft unit left and it was exactly what we were looking for. The person that helped us was Chelsea; she was very helpful in the process. By the end of the tour, we decided to continue and apply with Bell. They were able to adjust our move in date without affecting the price.
Overall, Bell seems like a solid choice and we're looking

Lived here last year. At first it seemed nice and clean. But later hundreds of moths lined the hallways. I dreaded opening my door.
Halfway through the lease they removed the ability to have guests park overnight in their leasing office parking area. We SPECIFICALLY asked before we rented if there would be guest overnight parking accomodations -- which was stated up to 3 nights in a row was permitted. But then suddenly halfway through our lease they changed the policy.
Halfway through the lease they also forcefully added an automatic trash removal service that we were forced to pay more for

Me and my girlfriend moved in on February 15th and I cant tell you how pleased we are! The staff and overall living has been great. Everyone here is so friendly and respectful I have no complaints about the building or amenities all have been well kept up and cleaned! This location is so convenient! You can find literally everything across the street or walking distance. I recommend this place to anyone student, single living or family. This is the full living experience and more!

I have been living here at Bell Pasadena for over a year and I love it! Anytime I have put in a work order request it's been completed within a timely manner. The maintenance staff has always been courteous, professional, and overall just very informative and friendly! The property itself is always very well maintained and up kept. It's also nice to see security at night walking through the property & parking garage.

I've lived here for a couple of years. I like it. Of course I don't like the price. But you get what you pay for. The gym is great. The maintenance guy is nice and the leasing office lady is too. The washer/dryer in the apartments are awesome. I have no complaints about homeless people fighting in the streets or fire truck sirens but I live by the pool. The only annoying thing I hear is the music they play by the pool starting at 9am. Other than that, the only thing they need to update is the HORRIBLE UGLY POOL FURNITURE!! IT'S HIDEOUS. It's NOT like what you see in the picture

Everything appears nice when you tour but the real problems show up after you move in.
1. Tons of low income housing.
2. Rent increase of 20% + after initial lease expires.
3. Adjacent to metro which attracts plenty of homeless people. Reoccurring problems related are drug usage and lewd acts in the alley separating the building from The Stuart next door. There has also been a stabbing and shooting that has taken place.
4. No parking enforcement. Non residents park in the garage all the time.
