Services
Reformer and mat classes are scheduled during the day and in the evening in our South Windsor studio. We modify our schedule based upon your interest and offerings may vary by season. Individual / Semi-Private Sessions Individual and semi private sessions are arranged based upon instructor availability and your schedule and preferred location.
The Pilates-based method of conditioning is different than other forms of exercise, with an increased emphasis on breathing AND body awareness. To establish a strong foundation, we recommend you begin with individual training sessions.
One of our qualified instructors will evaluate your needs through postural analysis and muscle testing, introduce principles of movement and stability which are the heart of the method, and teach beginning exercises in a private environment.

Total Barre is a fusion of Pilates, dance, yoga, cardio and functional strength training choreographed to music. It is a fun, energizing workout at the ballet barre using exercise equipment such as balls, bands and small weights. Our Total Barre workouts will strengthen your core muscles and lift, tone and sculpt your hips, legs, and arms.
Cate opened Evolution Pilates in 2002, with the mission of creating an education center for clients and fitness professionals to train in the Pilates Method. She graduated from Boston University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Movement Education, and became an NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer later that year.

I've been going to the studio for over 3 years taking Reformer Pilates classes. Cate and Tracy are wonderful instructor's. The studio is clean and safe, I never feel like my health is at risk. I do feel that the studio has been a life saver, with all the sitting in front of a desk that I do, the studio allows me to get the good stretch that I need a couple times a week. I've also had the privilege to meet some really great people.
