Our family-owned bakery has been serving homemade baked goods to the NH community for over thirty years. We pride ourselves on using fresh, local ingredients to create traditional breads, cakes, pies, and more every day. At Sweet Dreams Bakery, we appreciate our neighbors and customers that come back time and time again for their favorite dishes.
Services
Sweet Dreams Bakery was established in 1988 by Charles Italiano and Laura Ferrante who made the bakery very successful throughout the mid-90s. While Charles continued to run the bakery and offer a wide variety of wonderful food selections, Laura pursued her career separately. Unfortunately, in 2007 Charles passed away very suddenly and left the bakery to his two sons, David and Chris Italiano who continue to run the bakery today.

How sweet can it be? This is by far one of the best bakeries I have been to in 48 states. Unimposing and similarly unimpressive on the side of Portsmouth Avenue sits a little bakery, I drove by 10 or 15 times going to or coming from work without realizing what it was. It just so happens to be the greatest little bakery I've found in the area. I'm partial to the blueberry scones and muffins. They have a marvelous little menu, so get there early. Once they're gone, you have to get there earlier the next day. Definitely not as expensive as I thought it should be based on the homemade taste. Although

What a fantastic place. Upon stepping inside suffering extreme hangryness, I was greeted by two lovely ladies who are extremely polite and upbeat. Eerybody was looking very busy. Soon I was handed the best chicken salad sandwich I think I've ever had it was like 2 lb of chicken salad on the freshest Baker recommended oat bread. Was a little pricey (prolly cuz im old now) but I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. And the hazelnut coffee was hot at 3:00 p.m.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Rude and very pricey. We have been a customer of Sweet Dreams in Stratham for years. Their items are hit or miss. The biggest issue over the years is the customer service. The staff is usually surly, bordering on arrogant, which as we all know is unusual for the Stratham/Exeter community. We recommend the bakery at On the Vine about a mile more down the road on the left for us and just outside Exeter's rotunda in the town center.

I went in to order two cakes for my wife's upcoming birthday party. Based on many positive reviews I expected something pretty nice. After I placed the order I bought two eclairs. The eclairs were very (very) stale. The pastry was thick and hard and tasteless. The filling was . . . not good.
Several days later I picked up the cakes for the party. They had been baked at least a day in advance since when I called to check on the order the day before I was told that they were ready. More important though, was that both cakes tasted really pretty lousy. Several of us were surprised and disappointed
