Services
Hearing and Audiology Services is committed to bringing skilled and accurate diagnostic testing, effective treatment options, & the best in hearing aid technology to the Raleigh area. Our caring and compassionate staff is 100% dedicated to providing personalized hearing services for all ages and budgets.
Hearing and Audiology Services would like to welcome you to our practice. To help you achieve the best possible hearing, we are committed to studying the latest clinical research, continually updating our training, and staying up to date with advancements in digital hearing devices. Our office is equipped with computerized instruments for evaluating your hearing, diagnosing your problem, and, if needed, fitting your hearing aids.
A free initial hearing screening is a quick pass or fail test across many frequencies to determine how well you hear different sounds. If you pass a hearing screening, there is no reason to do further diagnostic testing. If you fail a hearing screening, a further diagnostic hearing test will be conducted to evaluate the degree and type of hearing loss.
At Hearing and Audiology Services, we offer comprehensive hearing aid services beginning with an evaluation to determine if a hearing aid is right for you. If we determine you would benefit from a hearing aid, we guide you through a selection process to determine which product would best meet your needs.
Your body naturally produces earwax, otherwise known as cerumen, to lubricate your ear canal while blocking dust and debris from entering too deep into the canal. Typically, your body clears excess wax from the ears. Occasionally earwax can accumulate and create blockages that cause uncomfortable symptoms.

I had a problem with my Oticon hearing aids. I dropped them off on Tuesday afternoon and recieved a phone call on Wednesday morning that the problem was resolved and they were ready to be picked up. When I inquired about the cost associated with the repair activity, I was informed by Dr Engel that there would be no charge for the service. Fast service and a friendly office.

I needed new hearing aids. Andi the audiologist was thorough, very kind and patient with me. She made sure I was happy with my new hearing aids before leaving the office. I am!! Small office of which I prefer. Also, filed and dealt with my insurance company on my behalf.

Recently moved to CA, looking for a good audiologist. I hit the Jack pot! Front desk lady greeted me & she was kind. I went to see Dr. Engel & I thought I was having problems with my hearing aid, unfortunately I found out my hearing aid is fine. It was due to having fluids in my ear, she recommend me some good ear doctors, I truly appreciate that. Dr. Engel is very caring & truly wants to help your needs. They made me feel like it was home, I recommend to others for your hearing needs. I will be going back
