Services
Gross Body Shop was established in 1947 by Leon and Lucille Gross on Navy Blvd. In the early 1960's, the shop was moved to 2600 N. "V" Street specializing in Volkswagen body repairs. In 1972, Terry Gross joined his dad as a partner and the business soon began a period of expansion that has lasted over 30 years.
Gross & Son has been repairing cars since 1947. We have learned that every car repair requires a different amount of time to repair. After our collision repair experts have completely disassembled your vehicle, we can give you an estimate of how long the repair process will take. If a car requires us to order new parts this will likely increase the amount of time needed.
We have recently opened our new alignment shop to help you with all of your alignment and tire needs. Gross & Son uses one of the best alignment systems available on the market. The Hunter's HawkEye Elite Alignment Machine uses four precision cameras to measure the position and orientation of targets mounted to each wheel using Hunter's patented QuickGrip adaptors.
First and foremost, it is your choice to choose which auto body shop you want to take your vehicle. How do I choose a shop? Reputation, quality and certifications. Estimates are just that-an educated guess. When we estimate the cost of repairs, it is not a final bill, only a ballpark figure to give you a general idea of the expense.
At Gross & Son Paint & Body Shop, we are forever committed to continuing our improvement of the auto body repair process. A big part of verifying our progress is through certifications. My car was in a fender bender, the front end was damaged. They towed it to their lot, got me a quote on parts and an estimate on cost to have repaired that day. They made the process easy for me! They called to check in and inform me on progress, as well. They were great and my car looks brand new again.

My son just started college in Pensacola in Aug and had a wreck in his Tahoe in Sept. I am 3 hours away in Alabama. I hardly know anyone in Pensacola so I “googled” auto body shops and decided on Gross & Sons after reading many reviews for other places in the area. Although it took about 2 months to get our vehicle repaired due to how busy they are and insurance issues, I was very pleased with the overall results and how efficient Adam and Teri were in communicating with me. We talked almost weekly during the entire process. They were always helpful and polite. I would recommend them and use

From the second my car was towed away (thank you David!) to even after I picked up they answered every question and concern I had. Julie knew I was lost from the beginning and advised me on what to expect and what the best options were. My car looks brand new and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was given accurate time frames and was updated consistently by phone. Biggest problem was State Farm insurance who worked a snails pace. Once the insurance company did their part Gross and Sons got right on it. Quality of the repair was outstanding, I would use them again.

Great place for all your auto body needs!!!! Wonderful customer service Everytime I've went into the place. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. Couldn't ask much more out of an automotive body shop. Great tow truck drivers and did I mention the staff actually makes it seem like they care from the time you arrive till the time you leave. Great place and I would recommend these folks to anyone and it's hands down the best place in Pensacola if your in need of an automotive body shop.

Great service! They were able to give me an estimate down to the penny and they had clear communication. In addition. I really liked how I could follow the repairs progress online. When it came time to pick my vehicle up I couldn't go so my wife did. When she came home she RAVED about how courteous and professional they were. She was very comfortable dealing with everyone there. We will DEFINITELY be using them again.

Their work is stellar and I will never take my vehicle to another shop after doing business with these guys. Everything about the experience was top notch. Terri and Roseann are amazing! I didn’t have an appointment when I stepped in, but were super sweet and helpful on getting me on the schedule quickly to fix a ding in my car.
Worked well with my insurance company, and got the ding fixed so quickly. Was truly a great experience. Definitely go here for your needs!
