As the name suggests, Preventive Dentistry is the practice of caring and looking after your teeth and gums to make them healthy and strong. This method helps prevent the occurrence of cavities, gum disease, tooth loss, enamel wear, and other oral diseases. This is one of the most important areas in dentistry as it focuses on prevention rather than the cure.
Dental crowns and bridges are prosthetic devices that cemented into the remaining teeth or implants by the dentist. They offer patients teeth restoration by covering their damaged or missing teeth. It helps improve the tooth's shape, appearance, and functions such as biting and chewing. Crown and bridges also aid in preventing the shifting of the remaining teeth due to the gap that was left by the missing tooth.
Wisdom teeth are the last set of permanent teeth to erupt in your mouth. It is also known as third molars and are located at the back of the mouth. Though some people may not have it grown, they are usually gotten at the age of age 17-25 years old. Dentist usually advised to remove it before it fully erupts for one main reason and that is because it can cause many oral complications.

The short story is, this is a great place to get your dental work done! If you are a more detailed person, then you will want to know that the location is convenient, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The doctor is gentle , skillful, honest, and direct with a good bedside manner. I would highly recommend Wake Cross Roads Dentistry.

New to the area and was trying to find a place that excepted my insurance. I needed up finding this place and so glad I did. The front desk was quick about getting me in and was patient while I asked a bunch of questions. They are very professional and took their time. Overall I had a great experience and look forward to my future visits. Recommend this place for anyone looking for a dentist in the area :)

I brought my foster daughter here for her first dental visit while in my care. I was able to get her seen the same week (other places had new patient visits starting in October!) and they were so helpful for me as a new foster parent and for her. Dr Dillard was thorough and personable, and he was quick to teach us what he was seeing, how treatments would work, and how to prevent further problems. I definitely will be recommending the office from now on.
