Avoid if you can. There's other options around the area. Unfortunately, in our floor, the smell from cooking is too much. The foot noise from the unit above is adding to our dilemma. The issues persist almost the entire 13- months we were in Solaris Lofts. No resolutions provided. Not responsible, proactive management. Disappointing experience for us. As you can see, other tenants have the same complaints on their online review...

I seconded the negative comment here. I had the same issue (foot noise); plus, the cooking smell from other tenants for almost daily. Some tenants are cooking with strong smell and just letting the smell out in the common area. I requested to have those tenants to open their windows to no avail. I was told it's normal living in an apartment building. I disagree. It was a nuisance. It's even in the agreement. There's supposed to be quiet enjoyment of the unit but not. Anyways, if these 2 issues are not ok with you, then this is not the place for you. Hence, we're out. I cannot

I’ve lived here at Solaris Lofts since February of 2020, and my time here since then has been nothing short of expectational! The on-site staff is always so helpful and friendly. I’ve only ever had to request one visit from them to fix an issue I once had in my bathroom and they were there to fix it same day! The amenities are generous, with free bike rentals that are exclusive to our building, to the robust gym, the lounge area, private conference room, rooftop lounge, and even gym/yoga classes that are hosted weekly. The apartments are second to none and so are the appliances!

We have lived here for a year and a half and we love it. The units are esthetically beautiful and location is more than ideal. It takes us 20 minutes from exiting our door to arriving at the World Trade Center with public transport. 16 minutes to Newark airport. Response time from maintenance is unbeatable, it takes less than 24hrs to get any maintenance issue fixed. No matter the urgency. Only downside for me is noise. You can often hear bass from neighbors music/TVs and some noise from above apartments. And this is a very up and coming area, so we have had construction noises since we moved in

If you like the sound of loud footsteps from the apartment above that vibrates throughout your entire apartment, then Solaris Lofts is for you. This building was brand new when I moved here 15 months ago. I initially asked for a unit on the top floor, but was convinced to rent one on the lower level. I asked the leasing agent if the floors were sound proofed because I did not want to hear noises above me. I was reassured time and again that it was. I even have her statement in an email. Well, the walls in the apartment appears to have some sound proofing because I don't hear anything from

Solaris Lofts is a new, clean, beautiful, and convenient apartment building located right near the Liberty State Park Light Rail station. There are so many great amenities here... a lounge, conference room, gym/yoga studio, dog park, and rooftop. Also, there is a convenience store that is located right at the corner of the building. Not to mention, the leasing office and maintenance staff are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. They're always there to help with any questions/concerns. The manager also plans awesome events and brings in outside vendors (including food trucks) to the building

I have been a resident at Solaris lofts for over a year and it has been one of the most enjoyable experiences. The leasing agents Evelyn and Karen go above and beyond to make sure residents are satisfied. They coordinate building events and schedule various food trucks to visit the building on a weekly basis. They are super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. As a licensed real estate agent and licensed property manager I’m extremely impressed with management and the building’s operational team. The response time for any maintenance issues are resolved in impeccable timing, thanks to Johnson

I've lived at Solaris Lofts for 15 months and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
The location is fantastic. It is only a short walk to Liberty State Park which has been a massive benefit over the last year. Downtown is 25 minutes walk or a short Citibike ride away.
The amenities in the building are really good. The gym is well equipped and the twice weekly bootcamp sessions have been a great addition.
The staff are friendly and do a great job. It was an easy decision to renew our lease into a second term.

4 MONTH UPDATE:
My wife and I are still having a positive experience at Solaris. Evelyn and the owner are AMAZING at communication and hospitality! Additionally, the maintenance crew (Raphael and Johnson) are super on top of maintenance requests and keeping the place clean. Further, the gym has received a bunch of new equipment, YOGA is phenomenal with Shanti, the grocery store is now open, and the rooftop is opening at the end of the month for spring! Couldn’t be happier / best place we have ever lived.

We moved to Solaris Lofts from Manhattan in February 2020. We really love the building. We adore all the light that floods our apartment and don't hear the noise of people above us much at all. I was worried when I read the other Yelp reviews mentioning this and have pointed out that it's not an issue for us at all. We love the beautiful amenities in the building and how responsive and nice the Solaris team is. I don't often smell the food others are cooking but must admit, I would love that anyway. It's part of living in an apartment building, it brings a smile to my face

My husband and I have lived at Solaris since the building opened and our experience has been great. The staff is very responsive and helpful, and any maintenance requests are turned around very quickly. I understand the concern about the foot traffic noise, but I have also never lived in a building that didn't have at least a little of that noise.. So, I don't think it's fair to complain that heavily about something if you choose to rent below other units.

My fiance and I love Solaris Loft! Its a wonderful, new building with a gym and a great conference room/work space. Our apartment is beautiful, is cheaper than our Brooklyn apartment (which was smaller), and has an in-unit washer dryer 👍. We're walking distance to Liberty State Park, which has a amazing view of the NYC skyline (which we can also see from the roof of Solaris Lofts) and the Statue of Liberty (we can see that too). Amazing place - also awesome neighborhood (it's quiet but like an 8 min light rail ride to Grove Street). Also, great people that work the facilities here. We're trying
