Services
At Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas, we cover your entire family's foot and ankle issues. From pediatrics (kids) to geriatrics (seniors) we have you covered. We have doctors who specialize in sports medicine, aesthetic foot surgery, diabetic limb salvage and foot and ankle reconstructive surgery.
Whether you are a runner, triathlete, or you play the occasional weekend game of basketball, sport injuries happen! In fact, the doctors at FAANT are athletes themselves, so they understand the mindset of an athlete. It is important to work as a team with our patients to get them back in the game! If you experience a sports injury, don't delay in getting treatment!
The most common reason diabetics are hospitalized in the United States is foot infections! Diabetes can be dangerous and devastating to your feet. Common causes of these foot infections include improperly cut toenails and poorly fitting shoes. That's right - something as simple as a visit to your podiatrist to have your nails trimmed and custom fit diabetic shoes can help to prevent amputations.
Foot and ankle issues are not reserved for adults! Many children experience foot and ankle ailments. It has been our experience that proper care and treatment beginning in childhood may prevent many foot and ankle problems seen in adults. Preventative medicine is just as important in podiatry as it is in general medicine or dentistry!
Many patients are concerned that they may need surgery to correct their foot and ankle problems. Despite their pain and discomfort, some patients are reluctant to seek treatment to avoid possible surgery. We are here to calm your surgery fears and alleviate you pain! Our doctors are extensively trained in the use of surgery to correct your foot and ankle woes, but we are also the most conservative surgeons in town!

It has been over ten years since I last visited FAANT for treatment by Dr. Crane (now retired). This time I saw Dr. Bliss. His staff, technicians and Dr. Bliss were all patient and listened to the history and many nuances of my condition as part of their assessment. I would highly recommend them on that basis alone. I have yet to receive my new orthotics so I cannot rate those at this time.

The staff and doctors at Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas are top notch! They went out of their way to schedule my appointment quickly, they were friendly and helpful during my visit, and the doctors were able to pinpoint the problem and provide a treatment plan that started that same day. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bliss & the entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Bliss did not mess around at all and got straight to work on my issue to resolve it. I have been dealing with foot pain for almost 5 years now. Went to "Good Feet Store" & spent over $1,600. What a joke & a waist. Do NOT try that if you are in pain. Go see Dr. Bliss. All other podiatrists I have seen kept taking the same steps over & over with no relief. He didn't make me start from scratch he just said, "let's fix it." So excited to get my quality of life back.

I have been going to Foot and Ankle Assoc for years and continue to be impressed by the doctors and staff that I have interacted with. Drs Crane (now retired) and Pruner have been outstanding — personable, professional, and knowledgeable. It always has been an informative, comfortable, and useful experience. The staff at F & A (Grapevine)are always pleasant, helpful, and courteous and they set a great example. I look forward to my appointments. Thanks for asking for my feedback.John Rademacher

Dr Steinke is great! The entire staff go out of their way for you. I saw Dr Steinke a few years ago after breaking a bone in my foot. When I decided it was time for a great toe fusion, I did not hesitate to return! I highly recommend Dr Steinke at Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas. Rita Mathine

Everyone I encountered from office staff to Dr Bliss was a good experience. They were kind and helpful. Dr Bliss was friendly, did not seem to be in a rush and offered good care and explained options for treatment in a knowledgeable and realistic way. This gave me the information and confidence to choose the best plan for me.
