However, it wasn't until my children were born that I started creating edible art. What began as just birthday cakes for my boys quickly became cakes for friends, and soon their friends. And before long, I was a hobby baker wanting to go pro. That was the birth of "Sweet Dreams Cakery". Though cute and sweet, the name didn't quite feel right.

The competition was held at Maggiano's Buckhead and featured 6 amazing bakers from around the state. Each participant created a themed cake "A duck's day at the pond", a wedding cake, and a tasting cake. Zell's Cottage Bakery placed 3rd in the themed cake category, 2nd in the wedding cake category, 1st in the taste category and was the overall grand prize winner!

Kitchen Cakes are ONLY offered in addition to Wedding Cakes with a minimum of 100 servings. Kitchen Cakes offer 50 or 100 additional servings and are layered to replicate wedding cake flavors. We would love to share our Award Winning cake with you.

Unlike many bakeries that provide you with pre-filled and frosted slices of cake or cupcakes, we offer you a fun, interactive tasting experience where you'll mix and match cakes and fillings to create a truly one-of-a-kind cake.During your consultation, we will discuss all of the details of your dream cake, from the design to flavor choices, special details and accents, and pricing.
