We just completed our 21st season. We could not do it each year without the loyal staff and customers. We look forward to seeing you for our 22nd year on Memorial Day weekend of 2022. It will be 22 years since Runners was established and we could not do it each year without you! Thank you for the company on this run and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

Please stop in and select some items for the grill, range, steamer, or oven. Remember we have homemade soup and salads as well. We will continue with our take out, like we have in the past. Lunch menu 11:30 until 4:00 p.m. Traditional "Take Out" Menu 11:30 until closing. Dinner menu 4:00 until closing.

Founded in 2001, we are back for our twenty first season. Runners is a family owned restaurant that has found a home at the Jersey Shore. Located in Ocean Beach 1, just north of Lavallette, New Jersey, Runners is a casual dining experience that also offers take-out services, a full fish market, and catering.

I am so glad my family tried this restaurant, as the seafood was fresh, the food was delicious. We did takeout, so I'm sure the food would've been even better if we'd eaten there. When we got home with our food, we realized that our 2 soups were missing. I called about it, and the manager, Ken, insisted on having them dropped off. They were very busy, and yet they still had the soups delivered (and quickly, I might add). Truly impressive! Ken also left a voicemail message apologizing for the inconvenience. I have never in all my years experienced such a genuine concern for customers from any manager

The best seafood at the jersey shore.... possibly in all of NJ. I make it a point to come here whenever I'm at the jersey shore, no matter where I am staying. It is truly amazing; fresh; cooked perfectly. Their onion rings are a diamond in the rough (so crispy)...a must try.

Great local spot with fresh fish. The staff has never steered me wrong into preparation tips and even cut my filet in individual portion sizes.

Place is ok. Food is fine, but nothing special, expensive for what it is. Service is awesome - girls deserve their tips, polite, fast and beauty.
