We went to the Crabs Claw Inn last night and had Lobster Tails. They were tremendous but what most impressed us was the best Server I have ever encountered. Her name was Deanna. What a wonderful experience, the management at the Crabs Claw, you are so lucky to have such a fine employee. We will be back often! Thank you Deanna

This place sadly has lost its luster and care for its patrons. What normally was an easy hang has become a treacherous land mine of navigating between hostess and waiters' feelings of self worth. Not to mention if you ask to watch tv, you get barked at. As for the food, it remains average at best. Maybe Better luck sitting outside. I will give this place three more chances and update accordingly. Good dessert as pictured.

Put a fork in the Crabs Claw, they are done. We've been down here over forty years and the Crabs Claw was always a nice treat but no more. I don't mind paying barrier island prices as long as I get decent food but this restaurant has turned into an absolute money grab for below average food at best. You no longer get a side salad with dinner and if you want one it's ten bucks! All paper plates now as well? We got the excuse they are short staffed but I don't buy it, they've been doing it all summer. The only thing they have going for them anymore is just a little bit of

We loved it! We had oysters and 2 entrees my daughter had the crab legs and I had the lobster raviolis, they were phenomenal. I would def recommend this restaurant. We had to wait a while but it is understandable taking into consideration the times! The service was great and our server was amazing. I would def be coming back next summer. Thank you for a great dinner to wrap up our vacation week.

06/09/2021: Lunch for 2. Ordered several appetizers (see picture) and one entree. The service was prompt & friendly (Thanks Ashley!). The shrimp, crab, stuffed mushroom and tuna appies were tasty and the portions were right sized. We enjoyed the "Fish & Chips" entree. The Cod was firm, not salty and tasty. You didn't need the vinegar or tartar sauce. The chips were neither salty or greasy. I will DEFINITELY enjoy dining here again soon. THANK YOU for a great meal: Well Done! ed

Right off the bat, excellent service. Very friendly staff and got a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. The bartender and Richie were very nice and the food was absolutely incredible. Got the stuffed mushrooms (bomb), crab dip (lit), lobster bisque and crab chowder (dank). For the entrees we got the ny strip w lobster tails, lobster ravioli, and shrimp scampi (dope). Get Richie out of training, your padawan is ready for the rank of master

On a trip to New Jersey to see an ill friend, I stopped in to the Crab's Craw Inn for drinks and an appetizer. The place was packed on this Saturday in the middle of April. Two top tables were pushed against the bar, making patrons feel like they're actually sitting at a bar. The drinks were good, the appetizers mediocre. A dude was up on a stage singing rock songs, and playing an acoustic guitar. Wow, did I miss entertainment during the time of Covid. Crab's Craw was fine, not special, but it served its purpose.

Where to start: Let me just say this is during the Covid 19 pandemic so I am being very lenient.
The first day restaurants were allowed to seat anyone inside, I visited a familiar place to me with high quality of food, and very fancy. I spent just about the same amount of money, and ordered just about the same food. With that being said, the quality at this first restaurant was amazing, taste, quality, temperature, and all silverware without even asking. Now i will compare this with Crabs Claw Inn which I was in love with until now.
The standard of quality was not at all up to par. I have been

Five coconut shrimp for $16. An even number would have made the experience slightly better. Lobster bisque was tasty but lacking in actual lobster. The mussels were delicious but $16 for yet again a small portion. The drinks were watered down. That's the trend. The end.
Good sevice was the silver lining.
