Since 1932 Toto's has made authentic Neapolitan pizza according to the same time-honored methods first used by Caroline and Antonio (Toto) Spadarella. PHOTO: Robert tossing the first pizza, with his father Frank looking on, at the grand reopening of Toto's Daly City in 1961. Toto's Pizzeria & Restaurant was first opened by my grandparents, Caroline and Antonio (Toto) Spadarella, in 1932 on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
Both were from Naples, the region in Italy where pizza originated. Using a huge brick oven, they began baking pizza according to the traditional recipe, the same recipe we use today. Five generations of tradition serving great pizza and other Italian speciaties in a family-like atmosphere, now offering the San Francisco Bay Area pizza delivery and takeout.

This location was opened 40 years after Toto's was first introduced. Very different from our other locations in Daly City and San Francisco, with their cocktail lounge, banquet facilities and full wait staff. It has proven to be the model we use today. Its comfortable family atmosphere proves to serve many generations of Toto's loyalists.
Our Belmont location came to life in 1999. We found a perfect spot one-half block south of Ralston Avenue on El Camino Real. It was perfect for us to expand our delivery service, with San Bruno Toto's delivering from South San Francisco to Burlingame, and now our Belmont location delivering from San Mateo to Redwood City.

Ordered 2 pizzas last night for out of town relatives. So disappointed and embarrassed to serve the pizza’s. Crust barely cooked (even thou we requested well done), practically no sauce.
We grew up with Totos every Saturday night. Hopefully, things will change and they will try to improve.
In the meantime, we won’t be ordering from them.

Not sure if management reads this-- but
what happened? quality of pizza went downhill. whoever makes your pizzas makes them uneven... lopsided crust--- not fully cooked-- the cheese you use tastes likes it's fat free or something-- it doesn't melt properly and ends up in a solid mass. not good.
used to be the best pizza in town... not so sure anymore.
hopefully they fix things to the way it used to be.

Most Friday nights I order a pizza to take home to my family after a long week at work. One man who works there always keeps an eye out for me and hands it over just as I walk through the door. It feels really great to be one of so many faces in the Bay Area and have someone remember me when I walk in. These guys are super hard working and it shows! Oh, and the pizza is awesome too!

This has always been my family's favorite pizza place.
Their pizza is to DIE for. Me and my dad always debate of where one of the famous pizza pkaces we had in New York (John's) was better. Or another local place in the mission (Little Joe's) was as good. I think over time I've come to the conclusion that Toto's is the best.
The ingredients are always fresh. The portions are great. Their sauce is delicious and the crust is crunchy on the bottom but gooey and good underneath the toppings.
Our go to pizzas are the #2 or #3. I haven't ever tried their other items but I would imagine they are delicious

This is family style pizzeria. The pizza is addictive! It is generational! Once you start eating here you’ll bring your family here for generations as we have. We’ve been coming here since we were children. We travel from the East Bay because it’s that good!
This location set up nice outdoor seating area. The interior isn’t anything special to look at but it is clean and there is limited seating. Almost always crowded on game nights because there is a TV in the corner. They keep the pizza simple to order even though you can customize. Thin on the bottom, thicker on the edges. The sauce
