Been coming for years, we decided to get Pizza for the family and the kids. Very thin crust however Had a difficult Time chewing and swallowing the pizza like eating cardboard Absolutely no cheese on the pizza there was absolutely none zero, Pizza very hard has no flavor there's barely any tomato sauce on the pizza. We ordered half veg and half plain. The total cost was $32.50. On one side the veg only had a few olive not much Veg on 1/2. I was extremely disappointed very pricey. I asked why it had gone up She mention that their rent went up in price, she also added that a vegetarian

Great service/great pizza. It is amazing what great customer service is being done by the young crew at Speederia. Hannah took my order she was super polite and she told me exactly what time the pizza would be ready, and it was. Wow, sometimes it is the simple things...

So good I ate 6 slices myself.
This is a 4.9 pizza. Minus a tenth because the dough was actually a little on the thinner side, but made up in spades because they are the ONLY pizza place using the correct.mozzarella type and moisture ratio. They are also making the sauce fresh by hand from San Marzano tomatoes and you can tell. Why are you ordering the other salty highly processed junk!
Order more than you think because it's not a heavy slice.
Also, staff tonight was very polite and friendly. They said they would have it ready at 6:30pm and it was.

Recently moved up to the area from San Jose and Speederia was recommended to me by a co-worker who not only lived in the area for several years but also lived in New York for a while.
I'm a fan of most styles of pizza... Chicago, California fusion-y pizzas, Italian wood-fired, whatever... as long as it's good... so I'm always game to try a new place.
The first time we ordered from Speederia we got the half Vito's Calabrian and half Pattaya and everything was great. Our next order was half Indy and half Whitestone with sausage added and the crust was a bit different

Consistent quality with professional and respectful staff. Pizzas come with the perfect ratio of cheese, sauce, and crust. Great foldability, too. Its the kind of pizza that makes you fight over who gets the last slice. Speaking of slices, the Speederia Special (2 slices and a soda) is so convenient. It's an immediate cure for a quick fix. I love this place so much. Keep up the great work. I'll see you soon!

Decent local pizza true to American standards. Fresh ingredients and tasty crust. Salads are on the small side so order more than one of more than two are eating. Large pizza slices are LARGE. Kids love this pizza in veggie or cheese. Drinks available at shop for pickup. Address is on Oak Knoll but careful not to pass the shopping center. Better parking and takeout door access is on Canyon.

Called in to order two pizzas for dinner and was told it's be ready in 1hr 30 min. I didn't mind the wait considering the dinner rush. Looking at the reviews, this seemed to be a great spot for New York style pizza.
Upon opening the pizza boxes, they looked like promising New York style pizzas.
Monaco - basically a supreme pizza but it lacked flavor/could use some salt. The crust was soft, dry, and super chewy. I was disappointed in the crust.
Brooklyn - definitely more flavorful than the Monaco but that was expected because of the pepperoni and sausage. I definitely liked this one

I live right up the street and order takeout from this place at least once per week. One of the few spots that sells pizza by the slice; big selection of pizza-by-the-slice! They also have a great selection of different drinks. The pizza is out of this world. Be sure to call at least an hour before you’re ready for a whole pie; they get pretty busy.

BEST NY Style pizza I've found out in the Bay. You know it's great when even during COVID there is a line to get in for pick up. Their very timely with the appropriate time to pick up the pizza. I even received a call that they could have my pizza earlier than the quoted time on the website.

I'm really happy to see that Speederia is not going anywhere and is still pumping out delicious pies. Sure, when I'm lazy or want a quick fix, I will order from a nearby chain. But I know that for quality NY style thin crust pizza, Speederia is where it's at!
This is a small family shop that puts their all into their pizzas and it shows. My go-to is the Brooklyn, but when I'm cutting down on meat I'll get the Whitestone. And they do half-and-half so it makes the decision even easier. Each slice is foldable goodness till the last bite. The crust is crisp and flavorful.

Recently moved to Redwood City and was looking for a new local pizza shop. Having moved from SJ, I was shook by the LACK of pizza places around me in general. A good NY pizza seemed even harder to find, until I stumbled upon Speederia (did not come up easily - I searched for awhile!). I was so stoked, I ordered a pizza immediately, and have ordered another time since then. We'll say it was so that I could be well-informed for writing this review ;)

I ordered a half whitestone/ half manhatten pizza at 2:30p on Sunday thru yelp. The wait time said 1hr to 1hr 15 so i thought "ok I'll just water my plants until its time to pick up". When i get there at 3:30p the cashier said that it was already done at 3p so my pizza was already cold. If the pizza was still hot it would've tasted great--cold though, not so much. I'm not sure if the wait time is set automatically by Yelp or the restaurant, but because of it my pizza experience was sad. In conclusion, if you order thru yelp, come in half the listed expected order fulfillment

I love New York style thin crust pizza and Speederia is my go to in the Bay Area for this. My favorite here is their Indianapolis pizza pie but all the others are also really good. Been a loyal customer for over a decade - mostly their San Carlos location until that closed - unfortunately. But I'm glad that their Redwood City restaurant is still open.

The core of what they do is provide delicious and fast, think crust pizzas. They offer a calzone and side salad as well.
We were sold on their chicken pesto pizza the first time we ate here and get it every time. When hungry enough for two pizzas, we'll customize the second one and are never disappointed.
