Dylan Point Loma Apartments

Visited a friend of mine who moved in about a year ago. I love point Loma and this is a nice location for the appts. Close to restaurants, schools and sea world. Not sure if the rent but worth a look

The office management is horrible, rude, and condescending. Not only that, but they are little to no help. I don't know how I managed to live here for a year. Don't bother living here you're better off living somewhere else, unless you can tolerate rude management.

I’ve lived in Dylan Point Loma for 6 months now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Not only is my apartment spacious and beautiful, the amenities are outstanding! The only thing better is the staff. The management crew as well as the maintenance and custodial crew are incredible! They are kind, helpful, and quick. They truly care about the complex and its residents. I honestly never want to live anywhere else!

Truly enjoyed my experience here at Dylan Point Loma. I came from a house to apartment living so getting reacclimated to having people live above and below me was a little rough. However my neighbors and the community was great.
Liz and Simon (leasing office), Ray and Joe (Maintenance team) were top notch. They always greeted my son and I with a wave and knew us by name. Amenities were great, however I wished that I got to experience them more, however this thing called COVID stopped that .

Great experience from the moment I have went to see the apartments. Simon kept us informed and up to date thru the entire process. Ms.Liz and Lauren were so helpful and informative. Great team!

My boyfriend and I lived in Dylan for 2.5 years. The complex is beautiful, with lovely tropical plants everywhere. The amenities are fantastic. The pool and hot tub area feel like a resort and are very well kept. Finally, the apartments are very spacious and modern.

We had a great experience with the management team, Liz and Lauren. They are very prompt with responses and very friendly. We also loved Ray, who maintains the apartments.

Overall, we highly recommend living at Dylan and really enjoyed our time there. Thanks!

These apts are so nice. I really loved the amenities and friendly staff. I had the privilege of working with Simon. He was well informed, professional and explained everything to me with enthusiasm. I'm planning on moving in November and I'll definitely be coming back to Dylan Point.

Safety is the most important thing- in my opinion- to consider when finding a new home. Dylan Point Loma is definitely NOT a place I would recommend to live for this reason alone. The neighborhood outside the gate has very high crime, and I never felt safe walking to or from my car at night. Because parking is such an issue (which I will elaborate on) we frequently had to park outside the gate where there were multiple break ins and cars being stolen. While there is supposedly always a nighttime security guard on watch, we experienced high crime inside the gate as well. Our neighbor got his motorcycle

Lived here 2 years, many things stolen in the gated lot included vehicles. Not worth the price for the location. its in the slum of Midway by bus stops 7-11s and sports arena. Homless screaming nightly.

I lived here for a bit over two years and the apartments were great! The staff was friendly and very helpful in dealing with any kind of problems. The only hit I have for it was that the pool and hot tub were closed for the last year I lived there (due to COVID 19) which was very disappointing when I got back from a 6 month deployment overseas.

Upscale living including all amenities when things are back to normal. Pool, jacuzzi, gym, dog park, office staff cordial, Office Mgr. Exceptional. Every attempt is made to keep everyone feel comfortable.

We absolutely loved living at this complex. Incredibly clean, felt safe, staff always very helpful and very friendly. The staff always made it a point to have fun activities for the residents, including frequent food trucks and gift card give aways to support local businesses during the holiday. Once I left for work (and I leave for work early!) and staff was at the gates handing out bagels to celebrate a holiday. Beautiful amenities and apartments had so many upgraded features. We moved to a different area of town otherwise we would've kept renewing. Definitely recommend!!

I have lived here for almost 3 years and have loved it! The events the leasing office plans are really fun, Ray the maintenance guy is on top of his game and always goes above and beyond what he is asked to do. He is also such a delight to have around the apartments. Very funny and always asks how you are. He makes this complex feel fun and safe to live in. Thank you Ray! ☺️

I have lived in over 20 different locations over the last 15 years and the Dylan has absolutely been my favorite! From the friendly staff (shout out to Ray Ray, Candy and the ladies at the front desk) to the beautiful remodeled apartments and the fresh, calming outdoors environment.. I felt at home. I sincerely want to thank everyone who works there for their prompt attention to anything I needed, the cleanliness of the place, the personal relationships that were built and their desire to cultivate an actual community (events, food trucks etc). Thank you for creating a beautiful home for me!

I have been a resident at the Dylan Point Loma for about three months. I moved in the middle of the covid quarantine and I must say, I have never been more thoroughly impressed than I was by the level of service and professionalism Liz Caldero provided me. She instantly made me feel like I was at home and you can tell that I wasn't just another transaction or another client. She invested the time needed to answer all of my questions and she made me feel warm and positive in a time of so much adversity. We moved in 8 months ago and just gave out 30 days notice, only because we are buying a house. I have to say I me and my wife looked at a ton of apartments before moving to San Diego before picking the Dylan and could not have been happier. The apartment has been amazing, between the actual apartment, the common places, and the staff. Lauren and Carrie in the office are always extremely helpful. Whenever I had an issue in the apartment someone came right over and helped, usually the same day. About a month ago our oven stopped working. The same day they tried to fix it, couldn't, and then

If we knew then what we know now we wouldn't have moved here. Here's a small list of problems:
1. SECTION 8/LOW INCOME housing is mixed in throughout the complex where you (Not low income) pay $3300 a month for a 2bed/2bath or $3600 for 3bed/2bath for a 'Luxury Apartment.' Management does NOT disclose this! We found this out after there had been break in's to multiple apartments, vehicles stolen, cars vandalized, etc... Because the people involved were either the low income residents or their 'friends.'
2. It's 'gated' but that's laughable

You pay a lot to live in "nice" apartments but our dryer has been broken since we moved in. They keep sending someone and finally when I got mad they replaced it. With another worse dryer that is falling apart. I keep being patient after THREE months of drying one load for 24 hours!!!! My energy bill is ridiculous. they finally realize they never drilled a hole to the outside for ventilation. That has to some sort of building code violation. I got home tonight to a giant hole in my bathroom ceiling with lord knows how many spiders are in that web...and the bathroom light dangling down

I moved to this apartment during a 10 month house remodel. I have to say this is the best apartment community I have ever lived in! All the staff are super nice and helpful. The pool is amazing, the gym is great for a small apartment gym. The area is nice and quiet and it’s gated so I definitely felt safe. Highly recommend!!

Took a tour today and this place is legit! One of my top choices instantly! The amenities were great and the staff was great with all my questions. Thanks again for the Starbucks coffee.

Pros- NEW! gated community, amenities, pool area

Cons- none really that I have experienced, if I had to say that it's a distance from my work. But I would be coming home to tranquility.
