So you are buying a house. Hopefully you are using your favorite real estate agent or broker and they have negotiated a termination option period of 7 to 10 days for you as the buyer. This gives you a chance to be able to get an inspection, decide if you are going to negotiate for repairs and then decide if you will complete the transaction.
If you settled on a price for a house and then found out through an inspection that there are 15 items wrong with the house, what would you do? Renegotiate the price, ask for repairs, or walk away? All three are not in your best interest as a seller. Give me 3 to 4 hours in your house to go over it from top to bottom.
Even experienced homebuyers sometimes make this rookie mistake. They assume that because a home has passed all local codes and ordinances, it must be in good shape.

I highly recommend Steven with Accurate Inspections. Arriving on time and performing a very detailed, three-hour inspection of the property I have an option to purchase. Throughout the process, Steven explained 'why' certain issues were of concern and 'what' my options were in addressing these. The knowledge/education I gained during the inspection was unexpected but much appreciated. The icing on the cake was a very detailed and exhaustive report outlining all the issues found.
