Maui's neighboring island, Lanai, offers several stunning dive sites, unique to Hawaii's volcanic integrity. We're lucky enough to make our way to one of the most stunning sites ever: the Cathedrals! This is a must-do dive. The caverns, swim-throughs, lava shoots and arches create an astounding topography, and there's always the chance of whales and dolphins swimming by to say hey.

Our family had a wonderful time snorkeling and scuba (1 diver and 5 snorkelers, aged 10-50) on a Molokini Crater adventure last week with B+B. It was a very early start to be one of the first groups in the water and to see the sunrise while we were preparing at the crater. This gave us ample time for the first dive/snorkel and a good break followed by a great second dive/snorkel. Conditions were perfect for exploring both inside the crater and along the backside of the crater. And we were back at the dock by 10:30. The team on the boat were very educational, helpful and made sure to anticipate

I did a diving trip with B&B Scuba to explore Molokini Crater in December and loved it. It was my first official dive after becoming a PADI-certified open water diver on the Big Island in the preceding week. Our divemaster Mike was very attentive and showed us all of the beautiful sea creatures. He also took underwater pictures and texted them to us a few days after the trip.

Terrible service. They charged me twice and 2 different amounts and never went on the dive. And this caused a overdraft fee cause they pulled the money twice eventually had to consider it a fraudulent charge to get my $ back. Also the staff has know idea what they are doing I did exactly what was told to me on voicemail from Sean. And Tony the owner and rose were not much help either.

Booked a diving trip for me and snorkeling for the family for quite a lot of money. They didn’t have any suitable wetsuit for me on the boat. They were either too small or completely broken and unusable, although I booked a wetsuit and they knew my size (which is very standard with 5’11” and 178lb). So I couldn’t go diving, had to stay on the boat, and they absolutely refuse to refund the money to me. The family went snorkeling. To my wife they gave diving glasses with correction by mistake which made her completely dizzy.

What a delight my Advanced Open Water Course this last weekend was! Tommy gill was my instructor and rather than just have me repeat exercises, he was really focused at improving my diving at the right pace. I could definitely feel the progress dive after dive.
Additionally, the facilities they use are brilliant for training. Mercers Lake is a great confined space to train and get instructions and experiment.

Great shop, boat and crew. They give a very good safety and dive site briefing. The guides and dive masters are top notch and friendly.. If you are staying in Kihei or Wailea this boat is very convenient. I also love their early schedule. They meet at the Kihei Boat Ramp which is awesome from the Kihei area. I had a great time with B&B Scuba!

Generally I would have the words to describe a business in a review, but with B&B scuba It’s difficult to express the gratitude I have towards the employees and the owners.
When you go and visit the B&B scuba you’ll be treated with the utmost respect by not only the employees but also the owners which is somewhat of a challenge to find nowadays.
They explain everything in great detail with concern of your safety and you make sure that you have the best time in Hawaii.

We had such an amazing time! Love the crew! My 5 year old came along on our trip to do some snorkeling at Molokai . The first thing the captain did was make him feel like the most important guy on the boat. It really set the tone for our whole experience. Made this very nervous mama feel at ease and taken care of and was a lot of fun for my son.

I was recommended to this company by a friend and they did not disappoint. If you are looking for a dive operation that feels like family these guys are that. Everyone from the shop staff, to the boat crew and Captain were extremely kind and helpful. We did a couple shore scooter dives with them and then booked some trips on the boat.
Another nice thing I like about them is they get out on the water before everyone else so you get to molokini crater before there's a million people out there. That also means that you get back with plenty of time to spend with your family while still on

Response to the "owner"....Why would I EVER want to come to your shop or trust my life to your staff again? Plenty of others that will take better care of us and won't ruin my trip. I spoke with them on the phone and initially chose to go to a different dive shop close by as they said the other shop had a bigger retail selection. However the service at the other shop was a bit ambivalent so I ended up at B&B. Ryan couldn't have been more helpful and friendly in explaining gear as well as offering advice on dive spots and even where to get great pies roadside.

Our family started calling dive shops to get info on renting cylinders and weights for shore dives while on vacay in Maui. We called a couple other businesses and one recommended calling B&B as they didn't rent tanks. We got a tank full card and the 3 of us dove daily for 8 days. They also rented snorkel gear to our non-divers for a small additional fee. Friendly directions from all staff members on good locations to check out around the island. Ryan, Christy and 'Florida' (sorry didn't catch his name) were knowledgeable about the shore dive options and gave great advice

Boat was in very good shape and the setup was very organized. However, dive masters wanted everyone really close, almost in a line like preschoolers. Ended both dives with about 1500 spare air in my tank. Maybe that's a normal thing in HI, I usually go to the Caribbean and you talk with the operators more about your experience and what you want out of the dive.
If you are new to diving, or have not been in sometime these guys are great. But if you have 100s of dives under your belt and want a little more freedom, might check someplace else.

B&B saved my vacation and scuba certification! I was in Maui the week of June 20th and unfortunately an unexpected swell from New Zealand blew out all the shore dives earlier in the week. I had my OW certification scheduled with another dive shop that was canceled last minute putting my entire vacation itinerary into flux. I called pretty much every single dive shop in Maui to which many laughed at me for even trying to book dives so last minute.

We actually did not get to scuba BUT the owner was certainly looking out for our best interests. We were scheduled to do a beginners dive the first day of our vacation. The day before the dive the owner reached out and said that the visibility was very poor (5 feet) and recommended we hold off one more day. The conditions never really improved so he kept pushing the reservation back (he communicated daily). We eventually passed on the dive based on his recommendation but will definitely use his services again when we come back to Maui! Great customer service and communication!

This was our second dive trip with B&B Scuba. Our first trip was in 2017. We enjoyed the boat crew and our divemaster (Matt) so much, we booked with them again in 2019. I have to say they do not disappoint. The whole crew is extremely helpful, making a very pleasant trip.

1- Star for the reservation process. I called a couple months before we were scheduled to be in Hawaii and the lady was SUPER rude. I tried asking basic questions about services, how many dives, times, etc and she was very short with her answers. I almost felt uncomfortable with them completely. However these guys were recommended to me by another dive master that I had been diving with so I went ahead and scheduled. During the process again the lady was very rude and you almost had to

My family of 3 includes a 10-year old junior diver. None of us had any experience - no book or pool work but with the Open Water package from B&B, it wasn't necessary.
