While using a biological, psychological and social (biopsychosocial) framework for evaluation, I specialize in the psychiatric medication and emerging option of Transutaneous Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) portion of treatment to assist in restoring health and quality of life.

Services
An initial consultation will be scheduled to discuss your symptoms, medical and treatment history, as well as whether TMS is an appropriate treatment for you. If TMS seems a good fit, we can schedule you immediately to meet with the doctor. You will have a full psychiatric evaluation with the doctor.
Our goal at Psychiatric & Behavioral Health is to make your financing process go as smoothly as possible. Neuronetics, developer of the NeuroStar TMS therapy system, will lead the effort to secure health insurance coverage. We have partnered with NeuroStar Reimbursement Support program. This program is staffed with well-trained case managers skilled at presenting your needs in an attempt to get TMS approved by your insurance company.
At first I thought that this treatment was just the "same old, same old." In fact, it turned out to be a very relaxing time which I am now trying to duplicate at home as part of a regular morning routine. I always felt that the staff were there to support me completely through follow-up sessions and trying to make me comfortable.
Do not follow internet directions to our office. You will arrive at the wrong building. The office is located in Building E of 15525 Pomerado Road, on the Northeast corner of Pomerado Road and Monte Vista Road. When coming here, keep in mind that following internet or online directions will bring you to the Southeast corner.

Trying to find a psychiatrist with a PPO plan that has about a billion unvetted referrals was daunting. However, when I ran into Dr. Carrillo through Sharp, I felt it was worth it to follow her to her private practice in Poway. She and her office staff were always respectful and attentive, and I never had any billing issues. The maintenance medication I take isn't much of a guessing game, and she kept me on it - didn't try anything crazy like pushing new meds for kickbacks (which I have seen happen unfortunately). I felt that our sessions were always productive and she paid attention
