I remember getting a cool cupcake from here. Next time you're looking to buy a cake, or donuts, support a local business instead of getting some soulless mass produced cake from ACME.

Bought a generic cake for a family gathering. Nothing special, just bought what was on display, trying to support a small business over just going down the road to the acme. Was stale and gross. Sorry to say it but I was embarrassed that I had served it. People were spitting it back out on their plates it was so bad. Spent $18 and ended up tossing it. I definitely won't go back.

Pre sliced cake hard and dry. Crumb cheesecake squares was not tasty. Very disappointed this visit

Good bakery! I took my daughter in here today for her birthday to pick out a cupcake. We also bought some cookies and one of the ladies that worked there gave her a free cookie. Nice people working there and very tasty cookies. I saw Elmo cupcakes in pictures but didn’t see any when we were there but I’m sure that’s a special order. Anyway I recommend this bakery!

Best lemon bars you'll ever eat, check your bags before you leave the store. Everybody makes mistakes, it's what you do afterwards that counts. We shall see, I'll leave up the five stars until I see if they remember what they owe me.

I couldn't find bear claws anywhere in Delco. I happened to go into Maria's and saw them! I haven't had them in years. Wow!!!
I also bought the apple and the mixed berry puff pastry turnovers.
They were all huge. You can't eat a whole one. Sorry no pic because we ate them all. Thank you to this bakery for having actual pastries!!
I expected to pay so much more. They are definitely underpriced!

Stopped in on 10/7 to order myself a rum cake for my birthday. Super nice woman helped me place my order for the next day and off I went.
I picked up 10/8 and another very nice woman waited on me and on my out the woman from the day before yelled out Happy Birthday to me. So nice that she remembered !!
I wishI knew her name, next time I’ll ask.

They do good work but they can’t follow simple instructions. Writing is blue when I wanted pink, they misplaced the writing and added a border to the picture in the center which wasn’t even requested. Thanks for the $5 discount on an $85 cake that didn’t end up like I asked. At least the cake still looks good, just not followed to a T.

Never a disappointment when I come to Maria's they have all the goodies and if you need anything you can call in advance and they will make it for you for any occasion

I typically visit Maria's once a year to purchase a vanilla birthday cake. The cake is absolutely delicious with hints of lemon that just take it over the top!! So good. Service is always good. Definitely a returning customer.

I went to Maria's to have my 10 year wedding anniversary cake made. I had no clue on what kind of cake I wanted. I just knew the color I wanted. After working with the cake designer Summer we came up with a plan for how the cake would look. When I went to pick my cake up I was blown away with how beautiful my cake was. Summer truly out did herself. I received some many compliments on the cake. The cake was beautiful and delicious. There wasn't a crumb left behind. Very unpleasant experience. We were recommended to our wedding venue to check out this bakery( it was one of the bakeries we could choose from for our wedding cake). We made the appointment 3 MONTHS ahead of time ( in November) and when I called THEM the day before ( in February) because I had not heard from them, I called to confirm( we lived over an hour from our wedding venue). After being shifted to various people on the phone because they didn't remember the appointment , I was told they would call me back. They are terrible brownie did not taste like a brownie ,the almond half ring tasted like cleaning solution

Lousy bakery they need to stock more doughnuts theres always out of stock at 10am thats too early to run out people want them all day. Also the cupcakes i bought were stale last straw. Wont be back

I've driven by this place many times and finally decided to stop in. I'm glad I did, the girl working out front was very helpful and patient with me.
The inside isn't much to look at, but what they have in the cases looked great!
There were a lot of goodies to choose from, but I kept it simple. I went with double chocolate, chocolate chip and Reese's pieces cookies, brownies, peanut butter brownies, chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and a large Bavarian pretzel shaped treat that tasted like black cherry chocolate heaven.

First of all, the ladies working the day I went in were the absolute sweetest. I got cinnamon rolls and honestly they were the best ones I've ever eaten in my life. Will be returning regularly.

I was so disappointed after stopping in the bakery today. The prices were high, choices were very basic, I could tell they are not moving product. One chocolate pie, some eclairs, cut up strawberry shortcake slices in the frig. The cookies were very odd looking, different sizes and shapes, the ones for $10 bucks per pound looked like a hot mess, jelly everywhere! The cupcakes I bought were dry and they ranged in sizes. My friend retired so I haven't gotten my Marias doughnuts for a while. Since I was in the area last weekend I had to stop and they did not disappoint. The white cream filled doughnuts are still amazing. The girl that helped me was wonderful and I will be returning.

My hubby got my birthday cake from here. It was AMAZING! It was a marble cake with chocolate frosting. I will definitely come back for all my cake needs :)

Been coming here since I could barely walk. Hard to believe it's been that long. Don't go often but whenever I'm in the area I have to get some goodies!!! I love the smell when you walk in and it's just so phenomenal. Highly recommend!

I have driven past Maria's many times but finally stopped inside and am I ever glad that I did!

The butter cake, strawberry shortcakes (we got a mini size for $4.25 in the refrigerated case) and cookies are all delicious. The service from the 2 young ladies was great, too.

I would definitely order a birthday or wedding cake from here if I were local to this area.

Yes, it's more expensive than Acme - but way better quality.

We have a weekly meeting for weekend turnover and each week the person on duty brings the donuts. I had the Maria's cream donut this week, what a nice surprise. The cream was rich and not too sweet. One of the best donuts I've had in a long time.

Used to be a great bakery but lately average at best. They had the best sticky buns anwhere but for last 6 month they are over baked and dried out, not moist and chewy.

Wife jut picked up an apple cake and they seemed to have forgotten the apples. Maybe 4 pieces on the entire cake and pretty much just taste like a dried out old spice cake. After writing this changing to a 2 star rating instead of 3.

Went to the bakery right in the morning to make sure what I wanted would be nice and fresh! Everything looked pretty good... I decided on an almond paste half ring... when I left and got home.. I realized it was hard as a BRICK... even the middle was not soft... heating it up didn't solve the problem.. do not recommend that one.. incredibly disappointed..

Good sweets. Standard prices. The food seems like it hasn't been sitting.
It's a great place to go if you need quality sweets for an occasion very quickly.
It's the only good bakery in the community, and I'm glad they are here for us.

We got an apple pie here, and when I say it was nothing like I've ever had before, I truly mean it.

Upon opening the box and sniffing the pie, I could identify, VERY STRONGLY, the scent of donuts. Yes, donuts. The pie smelled like a vanilla cream donut, but it was packed with apples.

It was really delicious, but I have to deduct one star simply because I could absolutely feel myself getting fatter and fatter and fatter with every bite.
