We booked 2 nights at Ledges but only stayed for one. The rooms were tiny and felt like a dorm room with barely any light. The carpets were stained, dim lighting, the walls had holes and marks all in them, and just grungy overall. The room was a frigid 64 degrees even with the space heater that was provided. The bed was not comfortable; it retained a lot of heat, but with the room being an ice dungeon, it made it impossible to maintain a good temperature while sleeping. The bottom sheet was also lazily put in so it kept coming off in the middle of the night, exposing the bare mattress, gross. The

Great place we found for my 55th Birthday. Kept us safe as we chose to upgrade to the heated glass houses. Beautiful views, great service, great drinks and great food. Will definitely be returning.

The place was very pretty and well kept, however I do feel like the price was extremely high for what it was. The room was nice, but very small. Very few amenities in the room for the price paid. Dinner at Glass was wonderful!

Very cool place...zero attention to detail..
Paper thin mattresses, sheets without elastic. Champagne toast from the lobby refrigerator with the employee lunch boxes. First floor rooms can hear the bar music until 3am. Employees smoking cigarettes outside my door with my new born son enjoying the smell. I was not expecting the Ritz Carlton but let's focus on the basics. I will say the staff tried very hard but the ownership was clearly not present. A great place to grab a drink and see an amazing view. That's about it...

Expectations were missed! Hotel location is nice, but room, service, front desk a total disaster. Quite rude.
Hotel is absolutely overpriced for what’s the offer is.
Good part was the restaurant. Food and drinks were ok

My fiancee and I stayed in the two bedroom suite that included a package for the restaurant and breakfast at Settlers Inn.
The room was stunning. It felt very warm and welcoming.
The bedrooms were very clean and spacious. The bathroom was also very clean. I liked the bedding, but my fiancee said he could have used a firmer pillow.
Loved the restaurant! We both had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection! Our waiter, Mikey, super kind and informative.
Prior to our reservation, we enjoyed cocktails in the bar. The bartender, Rob, was super friendly and pleasant.
Breakfast the next morning

We stayed in "The House at the High Falls". It is a wonderful property above the falls. It was the perfect house for our group. The kitchen was expansive and the living room was comfortable. The weather was chilly but we donned onesies and lit the fire pit. Delightful.
The bedrooms were comfortable with very clean facilities. The master suite is terrific with the two sides fireplace.
The hot tub was well maintained and also a pleasure on a cool night.
We look forward to a return trip.

We recently had a family wedding at Ledges Hotel. The wedding coordinator Hope, NEVER returned phone calls or emails, we couldn't even get a bill for the amount owned until the day before the event. On the day of the wedding she did not have a Plan B for inclement weather. The pictures are spectacular but the guest experience was less than stellar. Multiple staff members were complacent and the roll out of food for dinner was slow. Multiple tables had to wait for food because they ran out before serving everyone.

I was booked in a room (building) that was booked for a wedding. (I booked about a month in advance my visit was last weekend) My room was same floor of the wedding party. Was woken around 11:30pm. Went to the front desk I want to check out and go home! I was relocated to another hotel by ledges hotel to a suite.
When a guest is booking a room staff needs to be more aware!
Unfortunately with this experience unlikely will revisit. Very disappointed

So i had a wedding over the weekend. i called two months ahead and booked a room. you would think if you call, give all your information and card information it should be booked right? well wrong. i drove 3 hours to the hotel for my friends wedding. only to find out my room was never booked. they said they could try to find another place. they called and said there is a room available about 45 minutes away for 525 dollars - not including taxes and fees. and that maybe they can get the price lowered but not guaranteed. i thanked them but did not go through that option as the price was very ridiculous

Great stay. Comfy sheets, soft towels (and plenty of them), great staff, SUPER CLEAN, and awesome high tech shower. Recommend to ask for a room on the 'falls' side. That was our only negative, our room was facing the parking lot. Fortunately we were not in it often as we only stated one night. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful location and scenery. If you book certain rooms the price is nice with a free breakfast thrown in from the settlers inn but other and better rooms are way to much. We had room 111 and someone was working above us till almost 11 scraping a floor or something like that. It looks like a office and not a sleeping room above it. Tried calling the desk but nobody on duty after a certain hour. The bed was NOT comfortable. Way to hard and not a good mattress. The on grounds restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday which as a hotel restaurant it should be open every day. . They have a good sitting

Great view and good food! Definitely a place to stop by and check out its stunning waterfalls. Service was a little rushed however, they backed off and gave us options where to sit (our table had been previously reserved). The options were even better tables.

Really impressed with dinner. Cool place. Great service. We had almost the entire menu. Everything was better than an 8, except maybe the olives. The steak was 45 bucks and it was tremendous. More like a prime rib but just excellent. Cauliflower tacos. Yum. Chicken was so well prepared it tasted perfect. The verges were a little salty but they were still tasty. Loved it .

My review is only for the Sunday night buffett: I did not stay in this very unique hotel. The setting for the restaurant is amazing: I have never seen anything like it. The waterfall was an impressive backdrop to multiple seating options.
The buffett was horrible. At $35 per person: selection minimal, pulled pork so dry (and no sauce), salads: mushy. Presentation of the food on the buffet table was sloppy, poorly done and inconvenient. I still can't figure out the dessert: trifle???
It was fun being outside on a gorgeous night with fun people and a good band. The craft beer promotion was

Tucked away in a semi secluded area Ledges Hotel is simply beautiful. The staff is very attentive. Architecture simply beautiful. The establishment has a nice home feel to it. With a fire burning, a nice cup of tea and a board game to play. In the morning we drank tea while watching the falls on the deck. We found this great establishment via Groupon.

This hotel is fabulous! I had booked the last room they had available for a weekend in Aug (summer hit spot I guess) what was nice is when I called the hotel to see if anything was available they only had a two bedroom suite that has a two min night stay and I honestly only needed it for one night. They were accommodating enough and allowed me to just booked the room only for Sat night.
Getting here is a little tricky our GPS took us down a road that was block off so we had to turn around and go another way, when we went down the other road it seem we were going the wrong way but sure enough

I stayed here for my birthday and loved it! The room was gorgeous and had a great view of the waterfall! At night, you can sit around the fire pit and listen to the water! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area! It's a hidden gem! The staff and area are great! Hiking trails, horseback riding and good restaurants are close by and convenient! If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely be back!

WOW. This hotel is unlike anything you'll see. It's so gorgeous! The falls are beautiful, the rooms are clean and beautifully furnished, the staff here are so kind and hospitable, and it's tucked away in a tiny historic little town.

We stayed here for a night and I wish we booked for a longer period. Initially, we used a Groupon deal, so we got the room for a steal. However we wanted to upgrade for the jacuzzi suite and were pushed up to the best suite in the hotel! For an extra cost of course but definitely less than what it's actually worth. It was a two floor fully furnished

About 2 hrs away from NJ/NYC via 80 & 84.
Plug in Hawley Silk Mill in your gps & this boutique hotel is right at the back of this building.
Spectacular view right at the hotel's balcony & Glass bar. Renovated suites excellent for a family with rooms above a winding staircase. Can be pricey so be sure to check groupon for better deals. Suites are equipped w/a fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher & utensils so you really do not need to bring anything from your kitchen. They serve coffee & bread for breakfast at the hotel's lobby. Accommodating staff. Hotel is clean
