SGYC has Racing, Cruising, Fishing, Powering, and V32 Fleets or you can enjoy activities with music, dancing, banquets, fun and fitness, Silver Strings, Silver Wheelers, dock parties, holiday celebrations, and Jr Sailing. Junior Sailing provides full day sailing instruction and fun at SGYC for young sailors from 8 to 18 years of age; all juniors are welcome.

Silver Gate also has fun filled social activities with music, dancing, banquets, parties, fun and fitness, Silver Wheelers, Silver Strings, bocce ball, barbecues, holiday celebrations, pool parties, Junior Sailing and more.SGYC's most rewarding activities are the charity events; Wheelchair Regatta and the Schooner Cup race.

Advance reservations for a slip or dock assignment are a must. Please call the Port Captain at (619) 222-1214 and he/she will provide you with instructions. Our helpful staff will provide you with a guest card and acquaint you with our dock and house rules, the club facilities, i.e. The fee for visiting dock space is $2.00 per foot, per night.

We are pleased that you are considering Silver Gate Yacht Club for membership. If you decide that Silver Gate is the yacht club for you, please complete all of the forms and return them to the front office, along with the required fees. Your application will then be given to the Membership Committee for processing.
