I would not recommend this law firm. Several years ago I represented myself in family court and went against Jan. She came to court disorganized, poorly represented her client, and lost her temper while in the judge's chamber. It was obvious that her client and witnesses had not been properly prepped. Bottom line, her client suffered a significant loss, in court and financially (which worked out well for me).

I am extremely disappointed I trusted Jan with my family law case - specifically child support and legal decision making. I understand attorneys can be expensive but I was not prepared to pay $4,600 in paperwork alone. Initially, Jan painted a different picture during the consultation claiming most cases cost under $5K. Each month that Jan was in charge of my case $1K would fly out the window on paperwork, most of it on embellished time reading over emails and discussing my case with her paralegal. I wish there was a ten star rating because Jan Buescher deserves a *10*!! In one of the roughest times of our lives, Jan was a total godsend to us!
