I made an appointment with the office coordinator by the name of Ray to see a one bedroom, one bath. She gave me keys to find the building on my own which was unusual that she didn't give a personal viewing. The unit was dirty and I was uncomfortable. When I returned to the office she was not very helpful with answering my questions so I left with no plan of returning. I feel that the front office staff is a representation of how my living experience will be in the complex my first thought was this isn't a fit for me just by speaking with Ray.

There are a lot of unrented apartments, but instead of working with you, they are out to get every penny they can. I extended my lease once, but got stuck with a bill for an extra month at the end, and they tried to make it two months because they didn't pick up their mail until after the first of the month, even though the notice was there on the 30th. Not very professional. That ruined an otherwise unexceptional renting experience.

Rude staff, Samantha the property manager, doesn't care about her customers. A squirrel clawed through the drywall in my closet and got into my apartment. A new family of rodents made a home in the attic creating lots of noise and stinking up my apartment. I had to bug the leasing office to fix this issue! After 6 weeks the roof is fixed but the drywall is not. Green Hill is lucky to have Shawn the maintenance supervisor working for them! He's the only one that took action and actually was concerned about my situation! Counting down the months until I can move!

I've lived here for over 2 years and have had very little problems, the three times we've had to call, they were prompt and efficient. Once when I overloaded my washing machine and flooded the laundry room, they came in and dryed it right up. We needed our patio door fixed and they opted to replace it with newer doors. We even called them once to replace our refrigerator light bulb and they came right out.

Green Hills is not such a "green" environmentally friendly place. As a recent former resident, they did not have any recycling bins on their complex. However, I drove to Gill Elementary on 21195 Gill road in Farmington Hills to recycle my paper in their Abitibi paper recycling container in the rear parking area. Also, I drove ten minutes to recycle my plastics at the Novi recycling container on Lee BeGole drive off 11Mile road and Meadowbrook. Management should share some responsibility for recycling and not place it all on the residents.

This apartment complex could be great! ...however, they unfortunately employ a very rude and unprofessional manager who treats their residents and employees with extreme disrespect and lack of concern. I have overheard conversations about this particular manager, Pam, discussing the "smell" those of Indian decent have. How shameful of her.
