Anyone who is considering this place should seriously reconsider. I made the mistake of ignoring all the bad reviews in hopes that they would make proper adjustments this year. The day I moved in I encountered many preventable issues. First off, my room was filthy upon entering it with surface level cleaning and makeshift repairs. Next, my air conditioning would not work at all, thus forcing me to boil in my room for nearly a week. They have 1 maintenance man doing the bulk of repairs which means if something isn’t working in your apartment you’ll be waiting for an excessive period of time

This place is a complete DUMP.....it was fine when my daughter first moved in a couple of years ago, but the current management is a joke. The halls are littered with trash (including most recently pads/tampons), beer pong parties going on at the end of her hallway, filthy conditions, trash overflowing - and this is every day, not just after a big sporting event or holiday. No response from the manager after I tried to contact him multiple times. They obviously don't care.....just want our money. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have never seen this type of incompatible staff.
Deplorable service. I am fed up with very poor internet connectivity.
And the most disgraceful thing is that when the staff told you it is not their problem and did not account to give the answer.
I will not recommend this type of inadequate service. I know technical failure happens anywhere at any time but it is not the way to handle the situation. We are students and hope that union will take care of us.

My air conditioner has been broken for two month. it was broken since the first day I moved in. I submitted maintenance request and no one ever com to fix it. also my order will disappear periodically. I visited the leasing office so many times. they are just being polite but never being helpful. just keep telling me that they have notified maintainence team but never get reply. they all just want to get rid of the responsibility and no one would do what they suppose to do.
The internet is also bad. I have experienced so many times that the internet broken when I have zoom meetings.

To begin, on August 31st the assigned move in date: our apartment was disgusting as there was cigarette burns in the sofa that needed to be replaced, stains all over the floor, old food left in the refrigerator, puke smell, and spider webs everywhere. Our apartment needed to be deep cleaned during the time my roommates and I were moving in, instead of it being done prior to our arrival. Following that incident, we have collectively had to make several maintenance complaints for the same common issues: Deep Cleaning in the Rooms/Bathrooms/Shared Area, HVAC Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, ETC. Although everyone was very friendly and helpful during the move in process, there was only one person to check in a long line of students at the housing payment station. Needless to say, that took an extremely long time to get through. Parking was chaotic, which is to be expected I guess, but was a big hassle. One of the more disappointing issues was, we found the kitchen to be dirty upon arrival. The stove and refrigerator needed wiped down, and there was dirt and crumbs all over the floor. All that said, things could have been much worse, and I think in the end it will be nice living quarters

I have lived at the Union at Dearborn for three years now while attending U of M Dearborn. I can honestly say that this is by far the best place for any college kid to live. The management staff is accommodating when they are able to be, while still maintaining the professionalism necessary to run a student-housing complex. The property is constantly being upgraded to provide the best experience for students, and with the pandemic coming to an end I cannot be more excited to see what is in store for this property. I am from California so during my time at school the Union has really become like

This place was absolutely amazing!! I was down bad slinging dope left and right back in chiraq but once I moved here... it became very clear that this was gonna be my new beginning!! From the wonderful people in the office to the stead fast maintenance crew that make sure to keep the union running strong. The union is a place where dreams are made 🤩
