To create a safe and supportive environment for our Self development, finding peace in our practice. Carrie Searles Odom started yoga in high school and found it was an excellent way to relieve her restless leg syndrome and help her go to sleep at night. She found that yoga styles that were slower with longer holds in the yoga positions were most supportive for her.

We have been going to Kosha Yoga for a couple of years now and we love it! We started there because they have beginner's classes and we knew nothing about yoga and didn't want to get thrown into a class of experts. It was a good decision. We're on our third beginners series with Terri, who is great! It's a relaxed, non-judgemental atmosphere where you're free to be yourself.

Really great yoga classes. I've attended all levels, and there is certainly something for everyone. Classes are listed as Calm, Moderate, Strong. They all provide a different perspective on yoga. Style is Hatha Yoga, and there are many workshops and classes so there is lots of variety. The atmosphere is gentle, friendly, open and very caring.

I began practicing yoga five years ago and had a very long way to go! I learned about Kosha Yoga (near home) and started with Yoga in the Park..so refreshing! I love Kosha Yoga! Now I'm the strongest I've ever been and I'm so grateful for all the wonderful teachers at Kosha Yoga! It's a beautiful small studio where everyone cares about each other. Try it, you'll love it!

Kosha Yoga is the best yoga studio that I've been to! I've practiced yoga for the past 15 years, but have deepened both my yoga and meditation practice since attending Kosha. The classes are offered at varying levels by teachers who are both knowledgable and approachable. There are workshops that are offered regularly on a variety topics from Ayurveda to Gong Immersion. I would highly recommend Kosha Yoga for students of all levels.

I'm a person in her 70s and I had never done yoga before. I took a package of 6 beginner Hatha Yoga classes to help me improve balance and flexibility. It was a great experience and Kristin is an excellent teacher who explained everything fully. I have signed up for more classes. The staff at Kosha is welcoming and friendly. The classes are helping me to become more limber. This is a soothing and pleasant way to exercise and be quite challenging too.

Great place! Excellent teachers, from the Anusara approach, at 7 p.m. M, T, Th, with a moderately challenging class. Excellent emphasis on safe practice and integration of mind and body. Never been to the daytime classes but hear good things about them. Hidden back behind the Blueberry's bakery in the SW corner of Woodlawn Shopping Center.
