Since 1993, Colectivo has been sourcing coffees from origin and roasting every batch by hand. By developing farmer and co-op partnerships, they can be involved in every step of creating a great coffee experience. I recommend this bakery for its amazing foods, super helpful and friendly workers and staff, and easy to use website. Despite being a 30 minute drive without traffic for me, they are my go to bakery for birthday cakes and events. The empanadas and croissants are a crowd pleaser at parties and club meetings I have hosted. My summer drink favorites are the dragon boost drink, matcha latte with strawberry, and their homemade horchata. I don’t drink cow’s milk so their variety of nondairy milk alternatives is amazing!! They are also very accommodating to making me “vegan” cakes which is a huge

Great conchas but pricier than other just-as-great conchas you can get in Chicago. I guess that’s the price of the suburbs.
Don’t get any drinks here - they’re not great and not the real deal. Their cafe de olla is not good, which is a shame because it’s definitely an amazing Mexican drink when done right. I also tried the café con leche - it was super watered down coffee with a splash of milk and that small amount of milk had a hint of sourness that ruined the whole drink - I had to throw it away. If you want to sell a cup of diluted coffee straight from a coffee maker, at least reflect

Ordered a large tres leches cake for my son's college graduation. Wonderfully delicious--the flavor, texture, just-right level of sweetness. Young and old loved. The best!! This cake will earn a place in all our special family rituals. But my husband says the flan is still his favorite--which tells you how delicious the flan is, too!

I went here for the first time today after wanting to try it for a while. I was going to a friends house later in the day for desserts, so I didn't order any sweets on this trip, but I ordered the iced cold brew horchata, and it was very good! It was a bit expensive for a drink so I don't think I'd get it all the time, but I'll definitely go back and order it on occasion and try their other drinks as well as their delicious looking baked goods.vv

Virus lockdown review- well worth a visit for baked goods and coffee. A large selection of pastries, including meat-filled empanadas. The danish I got was very light and except for the cherry compote, refreshingly not overly sugary. My taste buds woke up with delight when I sipped the gourmet quality coffee. For walk-ins there is lots of room for social distancing and the friendly cashier is conscientious about minimizing contact. After finding this place, I'm never going back to Schlegl's where they cram grouchy customers into a small waiting space

Nothing like a ad popping up on Facebook about a new Bakery in Skokie near my house to peak my curiosity had to venture out and try the pan for myself.

Great flavor and texture to go along with the freshness of the pan ( went at 5PM and it was not stale

My wife tried the samples and had to get them. Fair price per pound and a nice variety
3. Flan *****
Not your typical flan bigger than most and not overly sweet
Panaderias are special and when you find one that makes outstanding pan you know how lucky you are to have one near your area.
