We believe that everyone should own a few pairs of eyewear so you can give your face a fresh look with perfect frames for any occasion.
At Veo Optics, we don't just partner you with anyone. Instead, all of our opticians are hand-picked to provide you with the ideal eyeglass and sunglass buying experience. Advising you before, during, and after your purchase, we have certified opticians that know just as much about the importance of style as they do the necessity of a perfect fit for your best seeing experience.
We also want you to know we've got your back, so below are some helpful tools for you in case you run into a few bumps on glasses lane. If your frame happens to have a defect (rare, but possible) we will help facilitate your 1 year manufacturer's warranty if provided by the brand. Please speak to one of our knowledgeable opticians and they will be happy to help!
Since we are a more retail based operation, we don't administer eye exams on site. However, if you need some recommendations of reputable eye doctors in San Francisco give us a call and we'll recommend a few in your area. And we never have. We like to keep quality up!
And instead of having your glasses be #1 of 10,000 at those insurance labs, we like to keep everything in house so we can monitor the process closely and have glasses look they way they're supposed to as well as give you optimal vision.All Veo products are sold only in store. Jesse is really the man!! He is super professional, absolutely knowledgeable and unbelievably patient and nice. I've been visiting the store for almost 1.5 years and I am extremely satisfied with Jesse's service for every visit. In addition, Veo has probably the largest collection of Lindberg in the Bay Area. If you are a big fan of Lindberg like me who purchase three pairs of frames and if you want the best service in Bay Area, I would strong recommend Jesse and Veo optical store!

The first time I walked in, the woman spent 2 seconds looking at me then another 5 seconds pulling glasses to suit my face. I could have spent 3 hours trying on glasses, and I would've ended up with the pairs she could pick for me almost instantly. I'm also super indecisive, so I love knowing that an expert has given me their stamp of approval in matching my glasses to the shape of my face. I'm a hound for Oliver Peoples. I've purchased many pairs of glasses here over the years, they're always excellent! I've never had a better experience at buying eyeglasses.

I love everything about Veo. From their COVID protocols (limiting capacity, wiping down all frames, etc) to the follow-up service I'm receiving as I order glasses remotely; from the no-pressure, super-fun fitting I had with James, to the terrific selection of frames... I couldn't be happier. (And I don't even have my glasses yet!) I live 200 miles away and yet I may make a visit to Veo an annual thing. Thanks, Veo staff! You make me happy.

The frame of my glasses broke, and it needed either a fix or a new pair. i brought it into veo and they told me i needed a new pair. since they don't carry the exact pair i want, i went to another store to get it. i brought it back to veo, jesse popped the lenses from my old pair into the new ones for free. he was pleasant to work with and a cutie pie :) i highly recommend this place.

Veo's consistent 5-star reviews are 100% deserved. Really one of the best run retail shops in all of SF, not just in eye glasses.

Veo is way across town from my home, but the two opticians near me were unresponsive even though I bought glasses from them before. I suspect it was too much trouble for them to bother with my small item: nose pads for my Lindbergs. When I phoned Veo I was delighted by the welcome answer, "Just come in and we will help you." When I arrived Jesse greeted me and, indeed, helped me instantly with replacement nose pads for two frames. I was surprised because one pair is well over 30 years old. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful selection of eyewear, but I'm specifically here to give shoutout to the wonderful lady who helped me make adjustments to my sunglasses today. My wife and I love this place. Everything in my last review is still true. One of the best and most thoughtfully curated selections of designer frames anywhere. I admittedly have a Tom Ford problem and Veo is my dealer. The staff is very friendly and I love that they will give you their opinion. Before Veo, I'd go in places and put on terrible frames to see if someone would tell me the truth. Extraordinary service!!! I scheduled an appointment that I ended up missing, but was still able to get wonderful service. The owner met with me for approximately an hour handing me stylish, sleek, artful glasses after glasses. He knew exactly how to find a pair that complimented the shape of my face and how to adjust the glasses to find the best angles for me. In addition, he provided me with recommendations on what I need to look for in a pair of glasses. This the first time anyone ever explained to me what shapes, angles, colors, and styles would work best for me.

Bought my glasses here almost a year ago, which I love and wear almost every day. One of the lenses got scratched recently, but fortunately Veo told me they were still under warranty. They replaced the lens, brought in the frame which was getting a bit stretched, and mailed me back the glasses as I moved away from SF. Amazing service!

I will probably get all my frames from Veo from now on! They have such a great variety, so there's something for everyone. But the staff at Veo mission is what makes this store amazing, and they offer top notch customer service! They've been so wonderful with helping me find the perfect pair of glasses and making adjustments when it wasn't quite right. They're also really good about following COVID-19 safety protocols. I left Veo skipping down the street singing Katrina and the Waves "Walking on Sunshine." Everything about my experience there was pure magic. I still can't believe that I found my dream pair of glasses, which James picked out for me. When he plucked them off the shelf and set them down on my face, he summarized the look and feeling perfectly: "Earth shattering!"

I want to say I’ve had really good customer service here and their selection of frames, as well as their help selecting them are second to none.
However, their lenses are not good. 2 of my 3 pairs of glasses have anti glare failing within 2 or so years, I’ve never had this happen before on any pair of glasses before. Even more concerning, when I had the lenses remade at a local shop we discovered that the prescription made by Veo was slightly off. I had two pairs made at the same time by Veo, with the same prescription, one is correct, one is not. Lastly the optical centers are about a quarter

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Veo Optics. I've only been wearing glasses for two years and going through the process of picking glasses has always been stressful for me. As soon as I walked into Veo Optics I was welcomed by Jamie. She heard my concerns, preferences, and listened to my needs. She picked a great selection of glasses and gently nudged me to explore outside my comfort zone. With her help and the other gentleman at the store I picked out a pair of glasses that I absolutely loved! Not only that but I also got a pair of sunglasses :) I would recommend everyone to come
